I don't think they have any options since other than Dallas and Houston, nobody else is willing to just rent him for the season, at least as far as what we know.

At this point, just let the man go where he's wanted to go along which is NY and then Denver can rebuild with the Chauncey Billups' and the JR Smith's and the Al Harrington's of the world.

And speaking of Denver, where has Stumble been at lately? Haven't seen him post much on OS for a while now?

Depressing.

Anyways, I don't mind rebuilding with Ty and Nene. Nene had said he wants to re-sign here so that's good news considering he can opt out after this year. Affalo would probably be back and JR is a wildcard. He's finally doing things Karl has asked for years. He doesn't shoot those stupid shots anymore, he still has to improve on some things but who knows.

A lot of expiring contracts on this team, it's going to be an interesting off-season.

****, man, I've never had anything against Carmelo, but this *** **** ridiculous. I wish he'd get traded just because I'm tired of hearing about him.

Yeah I got a text message that mentioned this. Could you imagine Kobe, Melo, and Gasol all on the same team? And maybe they'd get him to sign long-term and eventually take over the reins when Kobe retires?

Well I heard from probably as good an inside source as Broussard uses that if they make the trade, the Nuggets would give Nene to the Lakers to shed cap space too. This would just ruin the season lol.

Totally different situation though considering Bynum is near useless since he's usually always hurt come playoff time. The Lakers would still have size mismatches all over the court as well if the Bynum/Melo straight up deal went down. Either way **** the NBA if this **** happens.

Bynum for Melo.... Wow that would really change their whole team outlook. Don't get me wrong Melo is a one of a kind player. But having solid defensive big men is critical.

On the other hand Bynum is hurting... I think most people are surprised he hasn't hurt himself yet.

Artest off the bench?... I don’t know. The Lakers do need a shake up if they are going to repeat. I just don’t know if this trade works in the long run for them.

IF the Lakers somehow get Melo, watch them pull off a BS trade like Walton+Artest+Brown+last night's meat loaf for Anthony. I'd have to join King_B_Mack at that point.

The trade logic would be in question here. But the big question is... Is Melo signing that extension. That's the main question here. Will this be a rental or a retail purchase? Because the Lakers would lose a lot going into next year.
