Re: 11/1-11/7 Game Discussion Thread
Awesome game by Gallo tonight. Good shooting From the free throw line and behind the arc. Good defense and forcing Chicago into turnovers. I could tell the Knicks came to play tonight early. Good decision making by the guards for the most part in not rushing anything and getting the ball around. Amare has to stop turning the ball over and felton played bad in times but overall the Knicks were banging down shots from the field and behind the arc. The bulls aren't going far without boozer. This game was big for the Knicks confidence. For there first game on TNT sense 07, they showed thet can compete and close out games. Something that is not possible without Amare leading the troops. Still gonna be a bumpy ride but I'll take Amare leading this team. He just has to limit his turnovers and Randolph has to get on the floor and show he can play in this system and then I like are chances. Turiff is huge for us blocking shots and playing tuff defense. He needs to keep on being vocal and bring energy to his teammates. They feed off it. Landry fields got laughed at by most forum experts and as of right now he is contributing and not making a lot of rookie mistakes. Toney Douglas and Wilson Chandler continue to impress me and with Amare in there ear from the bench like a coach, I can only imagine what it's like on the plane, at the practice facility in the team Hotel or on the bus. Absolutely love what Amare has to offer, Obviously we have some money to spend and I see us only getting better in the future. This team needs to watch this tape of this game over and over untill they get it in there heads, you have to play team ball and limit turnovers, rebound, and shoot well in all areas.Comment

Might have sucked in general, But the Knicks feed off his energy and played inspired tonight. It's something that The Knicks badly needed and they showed even when Amare has bad nights they can come together and play solid as a unit. Amare's role on this team is to be the best player, and I love his leadership qualities just from a vocal standpoint. Yes it's not going to always cut it, but this team is starting to believe it can win. I know it's only 4 games in But I predict them to continue improving, even if Amare has a bad night in general.Comment

Goes to show how little I actually pay attention to the off season other than the Lakers. I didn't realize till tonight watching the Knicks Bulls game that Turiaf is a Knick. Took me a while, I was wondering who the dude with the massive beard was lol.
I still love that dude, looked at his line, In 26 mins 9 pts 7 reb 3 ast 2 stl 1 blk
I've said before on here that I have always liked the Knicks and I will love watching them even more this season knowing he is on their squad.Comment

There's absolutely leadership on this team that has been missing for years. You see so much more communication on the court, and guys holding each other accountable. Not sure how good we'll be yet, but the attitude and effort level around the team is so much better.Might have sucked in general, But the Knicks feed off his energy and played inspired tonight. Cant wait for tomorrow big game. What better way to earn the franchise best start then against the Heat. 5-0 would be so sweet and against the level of competition we have beat so far would do a lot for this team confidence.
This will be the toughest one so far ,but atleast we will have the homecourt advantage. You looking at the Chair MAN!
Number may not tell the whole story ,but they never lie either.Comment

did you all hear Kevin Harlan go off after johnson hit a 3 at the buzzer in OT even though blazers lost? sounds hilarious! haha but he quickly realized it wasn't for the win.Comment
