Is it me or does Garcia come off to others as a bit of a punk? He seems to get a little too excited after hitting a shot. It was a nice comeback and lead take by the Kings, but the Lakers poured it on again right before the half.

Pretty good game so far, the back to back Laker alley oops coming out of the break was nice. It looks like it is going to be a close game all night despite the 9 point halftime lead by the Lakers.

All the Kings love playing LA. They get a little extra physical, especially Garcia. He's definitely an instigator it seems when he plays against LA.

It's not the worst deal in the world, but you have 122 million strapped to Gay and Conley. That just doesn't seem right at all.

122 million means nothing. It is what they make per year. They are screwed in 3 years if they don't make the playoffs and are rebuilding but for now they are fine.

I hate that total numbers are even reported. THey are usually leaked by agents who want to brag about what they got their client instead of the truth.

And Gay doesn't deserve half of what he's getting paid per year.

Bidding against yourselves is never a good thing. Not letting him become a restricted free agent in one of the worst markets in NBA history is the stupidest thing they could have done. But it's Memphis, so I'm not surprised.

well you know i could care less what happens to OJ, there's only so much money you can pay to a 5th option.

Once again that money only matters if free agents would sign to your team as a free agent. To me i say max every player on the roster out, what difference does it make

I won't argue with you on that, that is very true.

Still doesn't mean it wasn't a bad contract.

If these types of deals mean a lockout is more likely to happen, then I would be upset. Now I can't blame it all on these owners, they're playing by the rules. It's just time for a change in the system.

I don't have any answers because like you said, a hard cap would definitely limit dynasties. And as fans, we all want to see dynasties, well at least I think most do. I am not even going to try to suggest anything.

Na Pack you're right, that was definitely robbery by Outlaw. He's a nice bench player but nothing more than that. I would say a 6th or 7th man.. he'll never get 6th man of the year and he's not good enough to start.
