I love what the Hornets did in the offseason. Paul has some pieces to play with now.
They aren't done either. Peja sounds like he's on his way out. Word on the grapevine is we're looking for a big like Samuel Dalembert, Chris Kaman, or someone like that.

Yup. I'm glad he got it and I'm glad he got it all with the Celtics. Should go down as one of the best, though there are a lot of those.

Oh word? We forgot how capable CP3 is?

        Come on now.

We all know how great the guy is, we've seen him lift a team before.

It more seems like people forget that the West's landscape has changed since that one year they went off, and also the Hornets have a bunch of new players... with their overall roster still a question mark talent wise.

It's the second week of the season. Let's wait for a little before we make any conclusions. They have played well in their games, no question. CP3 looks pretty close to 100% if he isn't already.

West is still an 18 foot assassin. But it's a long long long season.

$7 Mil a year for Travis Outlaw. Still can't get that out of my mind that we're paying him $7 Mil for......what exactly? SMH.

Glad to see Devin and Favors play like guys who gave a damn and someone, either Averah or Popeye needs to teach Brook how to pass out of a double team because he still keeps holding onto the ball before the DT comes and when the DT FINALLY comes.

Well, it was fun being over .500 while it lasted

Bobcats are the one team in the league I don't watch. Larry Brown basketball is not the basketball I wish to watch. Downright ugly most of the time.

Sounds about right, unfortunately I am a fan of the Bobcats though so I put myself through that torture.

How in the **** was that not a foul on Gasol? Getting emotional and heated at Arco.

Favors looked great tonight. He is going to be a force in a few short years.

Aslong as minutes aren't being taken away from Jason Smith. He has been playing absolutely terrific and earning every minute he gets.

It's always fun playing in Sacramento or in Golden State.

The Laker crowd is just as loud as the home crowd

Ahhh i wish that Monta Ellis for Mayo and Thabeet trade would have gone thru

                          Ellis gets to the line

And i havent mentioned the Conley contract on here yet; but he is making 6.5 million next year with 10% raises to get to 9 million his final year. Thats by no means a horrible deal considering what is expected of him and how he is actually producing on the court currently.

Is it me or does Garcia come off to others as a bit of a punk? He seems to get a little too excited after hitting a shot. It was a nice comeback and lead take by the Kings, but the Lakers poured it on again right before the half.

Pretty good game so far, the back to back Laker alley oops coming out of the break was nice. It looks like it is going to be a close game all night despite the 9 point halftime lead by the Lakers.

It's not the worst deal in the world, but you have 122 million strapped to Gay and Conley. That just doesn't seem right at all.

Not to mention Marc/Zach/OJ are still out there too.

Conley is one of my favorite players in the league so I am biased but that contract is not that bad. Just like you said it is with raises and incentives. People acted like it was the worst deal in the history of the NBA....but most fans don't know how NBA contracts work.

I wish I was in Memphis now. I was close to buying season tickets before my job in Columbus Ohio brought me back there.
