Re: How far is too far for KG?

I was going to post the old Snickers ad where the WR dropped a ball and then acted as if injured. He was injured...his feelings were hurt when the fans booed. Anyways I read it was pulled for being homophobic so I couldn't find it.

Should everything considered not PC be shunned? What about things that hurt their feelings? Should fans not boo?

What an over sensitive America we live in.

I get racial slurs thrown at me often and I don't let it bring me down.

I agree that America is overly sensitive nowadays but what I don't understand is how it's okay to play that card because of someone who's sensitive about they're appearance because of a medical condition. If you're a fat slob who's that way cause you don't have the discipline to not eat every Ding Dong and Ho Ho that comes your way and you're sensitive about your appearance, it's one thing clowing them and then telling them they're being overly sensitive over it. However telling someone that they're overly sensitive and need to get over things that are beyond they're control like the way they look based on a medical condition that's plagued them all they're life is entirely different. The two things aren't one in the same the way some of you guys are acting like it is.

But what is the first thing he did? Wait to after the game is over to go TWEET and self-promote himself and try to make people sorry for him instead of doing something about it right there.

If KG said this then yes He has no right to say that but if Charlie caught so much feelings over this how come he did nothing but post a tweet so that people can feel sorry for him. Im not feeling sorry for somebody like that.

What's happens on the court stays on the court no need for Charlie to get the media involved and try to help support some type of backlash against KG, it's not going to happen.

So we should get mad at all the times KG calls someone a faget, bitch, mother****er, etc. HE DOES THIS ALL THE TIME AND HAS BEEN DOING THIS HIS ENTIRE CAREER.

Never have I heard a person come out and say O I wanna challenge KG in the boxing ring because he's not as tough as he says he is.

The only reason Charlie tweeted this is because he want's people to feel sorry for him and somehow he'll get some support from this.

It's not clear when Garnett might have made the alleged statement, but the two did get into it during the game.

Villanueva was fouled by Garnett en route to the basket with 2:39 to go in the fourth quarter, after which the two exchanged words. Celtics coach Doc Rivers immediately subbed Garnett, but the two were still jawing as he was headed to the bench. At that point, a double technical was called.
Exactly what was he supposed to do in the situation just start mudhole stomping the guy and get suspended over this? Everyone keeps saying he did nothing about it and just ran to Twitter, the story says it right there. He obviously didn't like it and he and Garnett got into it obviously over the comments and Doc subbed him out as soon as things started getting rough, so exactly what is this...'do something about it then' that he was supposed to do?

Then HE(CV)should've just dropped right then and there instead of running to his phone as soon as he got to the Locker Room. THAT'S why most people are criticizing him as well.

Again, if he doesn't run and start blabbing off on Twitter about it, this isn't even a story and more than likely this thread isn't more than 2 pages.

Exactly, like I said before should every NBA player run to their twitter account after the game is over when someone calls them something or say something to them that they dont like? And Challenge them to a match in a boxing ring?

We have seen fights, arguements, player get up in each other's faces. We know what they said wasn't PG rated but I didnt see a player go run to the media or to the social networking sight and complain about it.

KG has called people bitches, homosexual slurs, etc. but did they run to twitter and try to make a big deal about.

What exactly is Charlie doing for Cancer patients with his Tweet?

Yea....BUT....He went at KG and got T'd up. So he DID step to him. So you expect him to stalk KG down, and get into a brawl?

This pretty much sums it up. The only reason this is an issue is because he said something. No person with or without cancer would know anything about it had he not put it out there.

This is like Arenas telling the media he faked an injury for his teammate. Thats not noble it's just stupid. If he really wanted to stand up for people with cancer he would have had this discussion with KG privately not via twitter.

Its amazing how much non basketball stuff gets more pep talk than the actual game nowadays

Nobody cares who won or lost or even who scored what, its just days and days of what he said she said because one dude went to the internet and cried like a mommas boy.

This is exactly why you dont do that kind of stuff. Im guessing CV would've just died in Magic's day

KG was wrong in what he said but at the same time he said it in the heat of the moment, both testosterone and adrenaline running through his body will make a person say things that push the boundaries. You usually say the first thing that pops into your head.

CV is the problem, instead of posting it on twitter, he should have confronted KG himself. Told him how he felt and that talking about cancer towards him was a step too far. I'm sure if KG had a brain and realised that he took it too far in the result of cancer then he would have apologised.

Now what KG did say should not really offend cancer patients or people who have suffered or know people who have suffered from cancer because he didn't say everyone or people who suffer from, he only aimed his abuse towards CV and only CV.

not a chance. KG would have then called him a F**got. just like he does to lots of guys. just read his lips, he says that all the time. even before the tip and says it on his way to center court.

its a disgrace how he talks and acts on the court and off. but yet then they air pieces about his buddy getting killed when he played for the Wolves and we are suppose to feel bad for him. hilarious!!
