What's a cooler story? Being able to tell your grandkids that Michael Jordan, the greatest basketball player ever, is a jerk and wouldn't take five seconds of his time to sign an autograph? Or being able to tell your grandkids that Michael Jordan, the greatest basketball player ever, took time out of his busy life to sign an autograph?
If you really think about it, asking for an autograph is a pretty ridiculous thing to do anyway.

Yeah, if you're older than twelve, fourteen tops, asking someone for they're autograph is pretty ridiculous.

Well, personally, I'm 18 and I still like getting people's autographs as sort of a collector's thing. I'm not about to sell anything I get signed. I just like to have signed stuff hanging around the house.

Jordan was in Cardiff for the Ryder Cup a few months back.....didn't have any problems giving out autographs then, free and ****, seemed like an awesome guy.

I can honestly understand why people can be douches about them though, sometimes, despite the fact that we as the consumer do make you, they want to get from A to B, or enjoy a night out in peace. Being hassled everytime you go into the normal folkverse is clearly the biggest downside to being a monster celebrity.

I generally disagree he'd be hated in the modern era, Kobe isn't hated because of WHO he is, he's hated because of WHAT he did, Jordan is like Wade and Kobe with the marketability of Lebron, he'd be a monster in whatever era, we knew his dirt in the 90's(even in the UK), so there wouldn't exactly be many revelations we'd be stunned by, we know he's a gambler, we know he's a womaniser, it's nothing like Tiger or Lebron who destroyed their clean images, Jordan never had a clean image anyway. His HoF speech was great, screw people wanting all these nice speeches, I'd take a fun insight speech that seems legit over forced fake ones anyday, it's why I hardly ever watch HoF speeches.

There's been a story told for years about Lefty walking in on Jordan sleeping with Amy.
