I admittedly didn't watch much basketball and didn't really watch the Bobcats. Well I'll be damned when I actually watched a game and saw MKG shoot. I'm sure I made that nasty ewww face and said "WTF is this?!"

I just have no idea how he can shoot like that. Shawn Marion thinks it's ugly.

Re: The worst pick up players.

Certainly not the worst, far from it, but this is probably the best place to put this.

Adam Sandler is shooting a movie in Toronto right now. My exam had just finished and I was celebrating with a little bit of ball. Well, not 40 minutes after I get there, I'm ushered off the court in favor of people who appear to be Adam Sandler and Jonathan Loughran. They begin playing, and I totally didn't sneak a picture or anything nope not even two, and I'm just kind of playing on the other side of the gym, and then a guy I know gets there.

Sandler and Loughran finish up their game, and to the chagrin of the staff, challenge me and my friend to a game of 2 on 2. Not fully comprehending what was happening, I accepted. We went up 4-0 after I crossed Sandler over and hit a couple jumpers. Then they came back to beat us 11-8. We played another game and Sandler just took over, and we lost 15-2. Sandler and Loughran are great at basketball and even nicer. It was awesome. They were extremely classy and hilarious and great pickup players.

That's awesome AC... I thought my seeing Kate Mara in Starbucks was cool, but your story takes the cake!

I've always heard Sandler could ball. Justin Timberlake too lol.

His handles are a little loose, but he's a flashy passer and he can finish through just about anything and everything. Seriously, one of the best finishers I've ever seen. Jumper is nice, love that little hitch in it that somehow still works out. Plays physical defense, aggressive on P/R.

                  Sweats a lot.

Had a ton of fun. Such a cool experience.

I'm always interested in a frame of reference for those fellers. We hear certain entertainers can ball, but if I may ask kindly, what are we talking? Solid high school players? In Timberlake's case, I remember him getting worked by Ed (aka Tom Cavanagh) back in the early 2000's.

And then there's Justin Bieber... http://deadspin.com/i-cant-stop-watc...poo-1508539501

If Sandler played pickup where I play, he'd be consistently one of the better guys in the gym, if not the best. He's not like a professional level talent but just among us mortals he's great.

I could see Sandler being one of those annoying guys who go like 100% every single time they play in pick up games lol..

Not saying there is anything wrong with that, but when it's a group of guys out there competing, but mostly just enjoying playing together, and you have that one guy who is like balls to the wall, it can get really old pretty fast lol.

Re: The worst pick up players.

Alright, this isn't a "worst pick-up player" post, but I wanted to share anyway, at my own expense. My older brother has a rec team in metro Detroit. They were down to two players tonight. I'm in town visiting fam, so me and my two younger brothers came to fill in.

With my youngest brother having just recently turned 16, it was the first time we'd all played on the same team together. My dad came along (since the trip doubled as a family dinner opportunity afterward). He thought it was kind of cool to see all of his boys playing on one club. So he took a few videos to document the occasion.

Unfortunately, he was filming as I broke out into the open floor on a fast break. I had a feller to my left and another already down the floor in position to impede my path to the rim. I thought the second guy would step up and cut me off, attempt to foul me, or try to draw a charge. Instead, he did nothing. Psyched me out. I preempted a move in anticipation of confrontation. Never came. Led to something special.

                          I now present you with...

Most befuddling, no travel was called (not kidding). I even kinda just threw the ball up there haphazardly because I knew I'd just committed the worst travel of my life.

                          Good times.

Thats awesome lol. That travel was even more obvious than Jeremy Lin's against the Blazers.

                              That's a "Lebron travel".

Seriously though, even though it obviously should've been a travel, I think it falls within the NBA "2 and a half" step definition if we give you a break on the 1 inch hop step in the beginning (and say both feet came down at the same time meaning either could be your pivot).

Haha. Yeah. I had the benefit of watching it frame by frame (couldn't slow the gif down that much). The slower one watches, the worse it looks. Four solid steps. Definitely got my wires crossed between a stutter step and Euro. Resulted in a Barry Sanders imitation. My brothers called it a crab dribble. I'll take it.
