I don't know if you guys have one of these, but how about the guy who gets upset for whatever reason, then basically quits midgame. I mean, he still out there playing, but they're just going through the motions?

On a similar note the guy who quits on a play. My example: Normally, it's a PG and he throws either a bad pass or the guy who he's passing to cuts/doesn't cut and it's an easy turnover for the other team. Then instead of giving a little bit of effort and chasing down the ball, they just stand there.

Man, that really burns me up.

Or better yet, when a player gets mad cause his team lost and quits after the game when you only have just enough to run with squads.

The “all-american" guy. He is the one that complains everytime someone else does something wrong like commit a turnover, lets his man score, or miss a basket. Yet, he is one of the worst players on the court.

I have seen this one mentioned but I can't stand the "Roy Hibbert" types either. That's the guy who is 6'6 but is soft as tissue in the paint. Its rec ball so the avg height of everyone playing is no more then 6'. Bra, stop trying to be a finesse Chris Bosh, run towards the basket, and dunk on anyone in the way.

Because they get on everyone else like they are one. Probably could have used something better but I still think it fits. Ever here someone say something like, “this dude talking ish like he was a an all-american or something."

I played against a guy from the North Pole hoops summit. Daaaaaaaaamn.

And then I played versus a smaller kid (although I'm a kid too lol, albeit not small) and since he's in like grade 2/3 and we're just having fun I pull out some street ball stuff, swing it around my back, behind his head and then through his legs for the layup haha

I'm on a weekend vacation with some family and me and my little brother found an outdoor court by the place we are staying at. So we hit up Walmart a bought a cheap ball and played for awhile, mostly just h-o-r-s-e and stuff.

After awhile of playing and me getting loosened up I started trying to do some dunks. I actually haven't been able to jump quite this high in a couple years, and haven't been able to consistently do more than just a basic dunk since I tore up my ankle in October. Funny thing is when we first got out there I couldn't even pop the rim, just hit it with my finger tips.. It takes these old legs and joints a lot longer to get loose than they used to lol.

Anyways my brother snapped a couple pics, and this one turned out pretty good. I've saw people post stuff on here before, and people have asked me questions about myself here before so I just figured I would post it here. Kinda off-topic but it's whatever.

Alright, this isn't a "worst pick-up player" post, but I wanted to share anyway, at my own expense. My older brother has a rec team in metro Detroit. They were down to two players tonight. I'm in town visiting fam, so me and my two younger brothers came to fill in.

With my youngest brother having just recently turned 16, it was the first time we'd all played on the same team together. My dad came along (since the trip doubled as a family dinner opportunity afterward). He thought it was kind of cool to see all of his boys playing on one club. So he took a few videos to document the occasion.

Unfortunately, he was filming as I broke out into the open floor on a fast break. I had a feller to my left and another already down the floor in position to impede my path to the rim. I thought the second guy would step up and cut me off, attempt to foul me, or try to draw a charge. Instead, he did nothing. Psyched me out. I preempted a move in anticipation of confrontation. Never came. Led to something special.

Most befuddling, no travel was called (not kidding). I even kinda just threw the ball up there haphazardly because I knew I'd just committed the worst travel of my life.

Good times.

Also back with the fam and friends for the summer. We're all getting older but I used to live in the same neighborhood with most of my team from high school. None of them really left the area after high school, and I'm always moving between Florida and the DMV so I haven't stayed as close with them as I would like to. All our parents let us put up hoops on their driveways, so every weekend when there was no practice we would just pick someones house to chill at for the day and always got some basketball in. One of my friends had one of the nice hoops with a light so we could play at night without having to rely on the light from the garage lol.

Nice catching up with everyone. We were playing some ball last weekend, can't let em forget about the pull up jumper! If we play next weekend I'll try to remember to have my friend record or take a picture of a dunk, I can't do a whole lot but I can at least do a windmill.

I won't care if you move the hoop down to 8.5 or 9 bruh.

Being 6'5 (in shoes) and decently athletic, people expect me to be able to do crazy dunks. I was always just a good game dunker, good at dunking in traffic and in transition. It doesn't help that one of my friends who's around 6'2 can do between the legs dunks, 540s, 360 windmills, all that crazy ****.

--6'0 260 and i can just barely throw in a normal dunk..like ball rollin off the hand at the rim style (i got them griffin throw in dunks onlock tho)
