Finally gone Hollywood out there? Haven't he been popping up on a lot of tv shows and talk shows in recent times? I'm not saying he's Hollywood, I'm actually asking about all this cause I have no clue.

He's played OK this year nothing to complain about. He was playing like an MVP the first quarter of the season and definitely deserved the All-Star game.

Just out of the loop right now and out of rhythm. I don't think this will last he'll get going soon.

If Pau plays with half a backbone in NO's I'll be OK with whatever happens.

WTH is going on with that guy. I don't want to throw him under the bus, but the fact is he hasn't shown up yet. When he does, it could finally be lights out

thats what i been saying.

one part is he has completely abandoned his post game and almost always faces up his opponent and looks for his jumper. it was cool for a while because he consistently knocking them down. now he isnt.

then he says he wants the ball but when get it he looks for people cutting to the hoop and if he cant get it to anyone he passes the ball back out. he hardly ever makes a quick move to the basket to keep his opponent off balance. now they just wait for him to make his move.

now all of sudden its 08 Pau out there.

i wonder if something is bothering him personally.

What makes the Gasol thing wierd is that he destroyed NO in the regular season and that was with D West on him, now guys like Carl Landry,etc are on him.

I can't help but think of what if D West didn't get hurt, poor guy atleast I heard his surgery went really well and could possibly only be 6-8 months out

Heh I don't think they doubled Kobe that much this game, they did a lot down low. What do I know tho I'm running on 3 hours of sleep right now lol

No none at all. I think the problem with when Kobe takes a lot of shots. Is that he doesn't take shots with-in the rhythm of the offense. Basketball is all about Ball movment. 13-14 when he takes more than 25 shots and 14-0 when he takes 19 or less. That is a crazy stat.

Sometimes he has to take alot of shots because no one else is doing anything. The only time i trip on kobe is when he starts the game off shooting everything and not getting anyone involved.

Yeah this. I think that whole "The Lakers are 15-1 (or whatever it really is) when Kobe shoots less than 15 times but just 9-8 when he shoots more than that" is kinda overrated. A lot of the time he doesn't shoot very much because the game is already well in hand. Tonight's game wasn't the best example of it, but this was one of those games where even when the Hornets got it close, it just felt like the Lakers were in cruise control even though neither team played particularly well.

Not to mention the fact that the Lakers really only won this game because they just didn't play quite as poorly as the Hornets. It had nothing to do with how many shots Kobe took.

u expected to make everything like u did in game 1?

We probably never going to have 3 turnovers again, but even in the last game we missed too many FTs. And when we got open looks we didn't make them. Most of the shots were tough ones, but those open looks gotta drop. Plus, we can't expect 30 and 15 or so from CP3 every game.

However, Ariza had a very good game. We need more of that from him.

What I mean is that the ball has to move. You can agree that when the ball is moving around the Lakers are at their best. It's when the ball stops moving on the outside. And Kobe gets it and isolates. I've said it a few times now. The way the triangle works you can get easy looks when the ball goes down low. But once someone isolates from a guard postion (or small forward) the ball stops moving.
