Dwight Howard is 1 for sure.
He is the only player that can control/is dependent for the entire defense.
Offensively when he touches the ball down low he has to be fouled or he'll score.Chicago Bulls

Rodman and Big Ben in his prime. Rodman because aside from the obvious contributions, he could also get into the minds of the opponents with physical play. Big Ben was one of the Pistons emotional leaders, and also had a big influence on the team on and off the court. Both guys could defend the entire floor.
Howard on the other hand is a dominant defender, but strictly in the post area, and still a little too childish to enforce his will on his team or the other team, IMO. He can't even get his guys to consistently feed him. Still, no one in the current landscape can impact a game like Howard.Last edited by HMcCoy; 05-01-2011, 10:26 PM.Hank's Custom Collectibles 3D printer/painter extraordinaireComment

I have to give it to either Jason Kidd or Nash. Nash can win games with like 6 points by controlling pace and having 15+ assist. Also we don't count the pass that makes assist for another player which is very big in starting a play.
Kidd gets more of a nod for his defense and rebounding that he adds since he used to do the same thing.Comment
