If you try to tell me the officiating wasn't horrible and one sided, then I question your objectivity in watching a basketball game. That doesn't mean we didn't have chances, which we blew, nor does it mean that LeBron didn't hit great shots. It is what it is.

But in a game that came down a few points at the end, MULTIPLE BAD CALLS MAKE IT SIGNIFICANTLY TOUGHER TO WIN.

    End of story.

I do think this says a lot about rondo's impact on the team. Not saying he's an MVP caliber player but the team truly did not look the same without him.

I think the C's just have beef with Lebron since they feel he disrespected them when they knocked him out of the playoffs the past 2 out 3 years.

So Lebron assembed a new crew and took them out in 5.
Kenny: Ok Vic, I'm ready for some girl on girl action.
Vic: No Kenny, that's girl versus girl.
          Kenny: What's the difference?
Vic: Well, in one, one girl wins. In the other....
          Kenny: Everyone wins?!?!

          Captain Tenneal: Get it on!

That was such a great game on both sides until the celtics started turning the ball over.

                      LEBRON FRIGGIN JAMES!!!!!
These teams don't like each other so I'd rather the C's walk off then give some phony handshake.

As for those bashing the "celebration" this season has taught us all one very important lesson:

                      HATERS GONNA HATE!!
                      Good job! Good effort!

No one said you can't do any of that, but the fact is your using officiating as an easy out/excuse for the Celtics losing.

Bad calls went both ways and they didn't change the fact that the Celtics had their opportunities to win this game but turned the ball over, settled for jumpers, couldn't convert on those jumpers, couldn't defend LeBron and also the fact that their best player was playing with one arm.

If the Cavaliers were able to beat the Celtics in the playoffs, I would run down East 9th naked with flares in both hands.

As for the refs...to be expected. Wade and James will get calls. Gotta be able to overcome and not turn the ball over like it is on fire.

LeBron's closing interview with Sager after the game was a class act performance imo. Very well said Prince.
EA and 2k have the unfortunate task of trying to balance on a tightrope of fun and sim while trying not to fall 10,000 feet to their death. Instead of a safety net waiting down below there will just be angry customers quick to move out of the way and talk of their failure.

I agree with everything you said, except that. The calls didn't go both ways. That's all I'm saying.

I agree that's to be expected, and I'm sad we couldn't overcome that. Was just commenting on the fact that it was a factor. It's too bad that's a factor visiting teams are going to have to take into account in Miami.
