yeah, seems like the common thing in every instance is that he was in a position to arm rake any of those guys if he actually wanted to stop the ball...Comment

Re: Western Conference Playoffs - Second Round Discussion Thread
I thought it was pretty clear. The Wallace play was with intent because he proceeded to do the same sort of thing multiple times after that. If it wasn't intentional, nothing of the sort would have happened in any subsequent circumstance.Comment

Re: Western Conference Playoffs - Second Round Discussion Thread
Supposedly? I think it's safe to say we have decidely more examples of teams like the Lakers winning in shady ways then we do teams like the Mavs sweeping them. It's once in a blue moon that we actually have legit examples to say 'oh, see this ain't fixed in any way.'Comment

Re: Western Conference Playoffs - Second Round Discussion Thread
Bynum should get a harsh suspension for that shocking cheap shot.
The biggest guy on the court intentionally elbow clotheslining the littliest guy in a move that couldve ended with Barea severely injured.
There was no play for the ball. it was as clear a cheapshot that Ive ever seen in the NBA.
Just low man.
Get rid of losers like that.Comment

Oak man coming back with the mean left hook after Charles' little slap.
In fairness, number 2 and 3 are still around. Also, what I've never understood for those on the anti-fixed side of things. Do you really think it's smart to have the same team win ALL the time? You have to switch things up to not be completely obvious. Not saying it's fixed or not, but jumping up whenever a team like LA loses and saying 'SEE' to prove the point it's not fixed doesn't really make sense. Even casinos allow people to win sometimes.

This has to be the worst rebuttal I've ever seen in my life. You're better than this man. Like I said in the first post to you, I'm not saying it's fixed or not, I was just countering your point to be fair so I don't know why you're coming at me about arguing until my fingers hurt. What kind of comeback is that? 'Well here's the one exception you were talking about, so that proves my point it's not fixed...' C'mon son.Comment

Yeah, Donaghy won the Spurs decisive game 6 against Phoenix, beat Utah 4-1 and then swept Cleveland in '07. Stop blaming "crooked" referring and blame Amar'e and Boris for leaving the bench.
Congrats to the Mavericks for doing what no one else could in the West for two years. Ya'll winning is the less of two evils for me as a Spur fan.
Pathetic performance by Los Angeles. Bynum is a piece of **** and deserves a lengthy suspension for next season. Possibly the entire year if it is strike-shortened.Last edited by J_Posse; 05-08-2011, 10:12 PM.San Antonio Spurs 5 - Time ('99, '03, '05, '07, '14) NBA Champions

did I say this one example completely proves everyone wrong? nope. I just pointed out what happened today, just like the "pro fixed" crowd would after a game supporting their point.
It was a friendly jab that you decided to jump on and argue about..wasnt that serious...Comment

Re: Western Conference Playoffs - Second Round Discussion Thread
Thank Goodness there is no more of that, wait til the playoffs bro talk is going on, as to responses to losing games this season
It was wonderful seeing people not car toting flags around the city on their cars like some kind of spectacle
It was nice not to get my family cursed out while driving down the street, some moron on the corner yelling blank yall, Lakers
Its really quiet and nobody wants to talk about basketball out here right now
Matter of fact, alot of these folks shut down and lose their interest in the NBA completely if la aint winning... there is no real team pride because most of them are bandwagon fans
...and it ended in a sweep which makes it all the more satisfying to how alot of these people acted last year

so because there "decidedly more examples" of fixing, every example countering that point should be considered void? is that what your saying?
