Shaq doesn't have to be the best player on the team. He's still the most DOMINANT player on the court when healthy. When he's healthy, he just wears out other players by time the 4th quarter comes around.

he sure wore out tim duncan last year

The old shaq was unstoppable, but now, its just sad how un-committed he is. throughout last years playoffs he was always hurting the team picking up stupid offensive fouls lowering his shoulders into people ...shaq this isnt football, go around and over, not through the defender.

If you substitute "when healthy" to "in shape" my arguement could still hold true though.

Shaq being expendable is the funniest thing I've heard about the NBA in a long time. I'm not sure why you're so hard on Kobe's jock.

Watching all the Lakers' games, game tapes, etc and you think they can do it without Shaq.
