Actually, his first NBA game was at Sacramento:

Awesome highlights here. Webber was amazing. I don't think that dude knows much if he's arguing with you. Webber doesn't have to be the "Best Ever!!!" to be recognized as being incredibly talented. So many people think in absolutes, and it's not necessary.

While Webber would be better than Shaq in the studio, I think he's even better as an analyst doing games. He's really good at that, smooth as silk, knowledgeable, never bumbles over his words... we'll definitely be seeing more of him in the years to come.

He has some pretty crazy playground moves in his top ten:

Right, that game in Sacramento was his first official regular season game. The clip I provided was from his very first preseason game, as mentioned in its title. This is also why I said it was the first time James ever put the ball into the hole on an NBA court. It's not his officially recorded first two points of his career, but it's the first time he scored during any kind of NBA contest.

Here's the rest of the highlights from James' very first night in a Cavaliers jersey, sans headband. It's an interesting clip because James kind of established himself during those three preseason weeks leading up to opening night. He didn't dominate, but he clearly proved he more than belonged, so by the time he hit Sacto, I think we all kind of knew there was a very good chance he was the real deal. This first one in Detroit though, there was a maximum amount of mystery there:

Of course the Pistons would come to an all-star game to play suffocating defense...

Super Prime Ben Wallace. 19, 20, 3 and 3 in his first playoff game. Dunking everything. Received Defensive Player of the Year award prior to the game. He was still doing his No Fly Zone lockdown motion with his arms. The age of innocence.
