It's not about one side being good, or one side being bad, we just want basketball, and there's only one realistic way that's going to happen.
Oh sides have been taking that has been very clear. It's been a question of why.

Look man, either you are being very naive or you just dont get it. Its been explained to you so many times and you just keep asking the same question over and over and keep talking about how fair it is

Its borderline ridiculous at this point to continue to go down that road

I'll go a bit further and say it's borderline trolling.

No they haven't. You either don't get it, or are playing dumb.

As many as 50 NBA players were part of conference call with anti-trust attorney Thursday discussing union decertification, sources tell Y!
            From the Woj Twitter.

            That's not good, BTW.

At that meeting, after two days of discernible progress, Hunter and the players’ union representatives walked out of the room when commissioner David Stern offered a 50/50 split of revenues, refusing to budge off his previous position.

“I thought it was appropriate, because the signals we were getting was they would be receptive to moving off their number,” Hunter said. “We wanted to send a message to the other side.”

                  More from the Woj:

Calls included several All-Stars. One source on calls told Y!: "We're beyond frustrated with concessions that have already been made."

And the bottom line, and also a hilarious line from the players:

Here was theme: If NBPA drops below 52% on BRI, and/or remaining system issues go league's way, then this will become movement to decertify.

So the Players would decert if they do not get their system/52%. Mmmhmmm.

And for the first time, I get that sinking feeling that we will not have an NBA season.

That's cute, the players actually think they have a stance here. Oh well, the Owners will call their bluff. And if not, no season.

Good gosh.. Just cancel the freaking season already. I guess they're "threatening" decertification in hopes of gaining some leverage. Like the owners care...

                        C'mon son.

I could MAYBE see the owners caving on the MLE for the players, but there is a 0% chance the owners go above 50%.

I have a feeling we are headed towards a cancelled season. BTW, I think it's funny that a few all-stars are speaking for hundreds of others. Way to go NBPA.

"I don’t think there should ever be a circumstance where owners make the same or more than the players.

This is my prediction MARK MY WORDS PLEASE

.They will walk in the meeting on saturday
.They will sit down on the chairs
.They will open up their books
.Some will be smiling/others will be frown
                                .They will try to negotiate
                                .Disagreement will occur
.Hunter & his crew will walkout

-The End, say bye bye to another month of the season
I could promise everyone on this forum that will happen.
Its either they wont make a deal on saturday or they will schedule to another meeting in the next few weeks.

Honestly im tired of this games their playing, before they even enter the meeting .. why dont they notify eachother & say "No meeting UNLESS were 150% sure we will get a deal done, if not then lets keep cancelling games & games until the season gets cancelled. This ish has been happening for how long now? last meeting was even worse, they got us all happy & hopes up. I swear I was so optimistic that I was going to bet that the season will start on Dec 1st. & were going to have 82 games, but that does NOT look like it so far, lets just be clear guys.. everything I mentioned above will be happening... walk in the meeting & they will walkout with nothing, every single meeting same crap. Im tired of this i swear... season opener was suppose be on tuesday.. so so sad omg!! my season opener was 2k12. I really dont know what to think anymore but this is seriously getting out of hand , the players are so stupid man .. ACCEPT THE DAMN OFFER! & start playing ball man.

P.s Nothing is happening this saturday, it will turn out to be a FAIL. Im done being optimistic from now on , officially done
                                Whos with me?
