Blow what to the moon? The league? The fanbase? The players bargaining position?

At this point I think the season will start on Christmas

      of 2012.
As Shaquille O'Neal left the Suns practice court, he yelled out, "Alvin's the coach. We must be the Clippers. And I must be Olowokandi. Nooooo!"

I don't even understand why the hell Derek Fisher is leading the NBA Players anyway. He's been awful, and he'll be out of the league in a year or two anyway. The ramifications of the deal he's negotiating will be felt by players long after him. Why should he care though, he'll be retired.

Most likely someone on the last legs of their career so they won't be around to see the fallout from pushing the big red button.

Derek Fisher believes David Stern wants to get a deal done, but a number of team owners are standing in the way.

Derek Fisher is a ****ing embarrassment. I'm so glad I hate this guy to begin with.

Fisher says NBPA won't accept ultimatum. "That's not acceptable." smh

Fisher says players could agree to "maybe one" of the what-ifs proposed, but some work would be needed on that.
These players are delusional then. Wow.

This guy Jeff Kessler's a piece of ****.

NBA attorney Jeff Kessler: "They came in here with a pre-arranged plan to strongarm the players..."

Kessler: "The players will not be intimidated. It's not happening on Derek Fisher's watch, not happening on Billy Hunter's watch."

...well, alright then. Let them eat cake.

Asked Fisher if he would take this ultimatum to the players, he said: "At this point, we don't have a deal to propose..."

I never ever in my wildest dreams would've thought that Derek Fisher would be the one to cause the end of mens professional basketball in North America as we know it yet here we are...

Re: NBA Lockout and Collective Bargaining Agreement Discussion

                          This is incredibly frustrating.

                          Greed vs Pride.

And i'm not really sure why the players are so upset with this system. It's stupid. Really, really stupid.

Whatever. If the players turn this down, then kiss 2011-2012 season good bye. If the players aren't willing to take this, then the gap will be massive.

As to the player who said it's time to blow (beep) up...lmao. Good luck. On the very, very slim chance that the rest of the union agrees with you and votes to decert, and the NLRB agrees with you, you still have to win a court case that you probably won't win.

Either the players give in to a system that quite frankly seems pretty fair or they say no and the season is gone.

BTW, the tears in Fisher's eyes makes me believe he knows this too. He is literally in a no win situation. I am perplexed that he is picking not to go along with this, though.

As for Jeff Kessler...he can go to hell.

Quick question......if the Union "decertifies" and the owners say "gates are open, come and play" etc (which odviously the players won't do)...at what point do current contracts become null and void?

I.e. if I didn't show up at work for a few months, my contract would be in the garbage bin and I'd lose my job.
