I appreciate that @NazrMohammed and others are at least out there talking. Owners are hiding behind limousine windows.

This whole lockout imo has been nothing more than "Comical"

How people act in regards to $ never ceases to amaze me.

Looks like the NBA is tweeting terms of the proposal

Through its Twitter feed dedicated to labor talks with the union, the NBA office is disseminating information about its proposal. If these statements are accurate, the NBA's revised offer would appear to have made a few more concessions than have previously been reported.

Under the revised offer, the repeater tax would only apply against teams that go over the tax four times in five years. Under the previous proposal, it was believed that the repeater tax would kick in for teams that exceeded the tax threshold three times in five years.

In addition, projections for the luxury tax threshold would be between $70 million and $85 million over six seasons.

The NBA also states that maximum salaries would range between $13 million and $19 million, presumably referring to the first-season salary of such a contract.

Decert voids contracts...still not seeing how that helps. I can see how that would help the owners but not players.

They need to allow all 400 or so members of the union to be present or have a presence at the meeting on Monday or Tuesday. Have a detailed and specific conference call about the proposal, and then allow them all to cast a vote. Then, whether it passes or not we'll finally be headed in some sort of direction.

Any proposal that tries to further legitimize the D-League as a minor league and expands the current age restriction, I'm totally for. I want to see kids that have further development in the minor league or in college. Not wasting away on the back of a pro teams bench eating up financial resources and roster spot (Thabeet).

@JasonTerry31: Not true new deal would "eliminate middle class"; NBA proposal has more mid-level opportunities than 2005 CBA

$5M for non-taxpayers, $3M for taxpayers, $2.5M for room teams

That makes alot of sense to me, plus the mini midlevel is available every year

I never thought the NBA would use Twitter to answer its players.

Please someone at the NBA offices reply to Nazr.

tbh, I was kinda waiting for it...

but to stay on topic I just can't wait for some type of resolution, whether it's a season or a cancellation, I'm just tired of being strung along.
