While negotiations on balance of CBA would continue, agreement on current proposal would, per NBA, allow "move toward start of a season."

Is this a good or bad thing?
Good thing. If the reps accept the current proposal. The NBA and Union can negotiate the smaller issues during the week and potentially lift the lockout at week's end.

About to take the Yacht out, then grab dinner tonight. Great way to spend my Sunday. I would rather play a game for the NYK right now.
        Seriously?

Have questions about the NBA's CBA proposal? Send them in to @NBA on Twitter. David Stern & Adam Silver will be answering starting at 7pm/et.

Part of the reason I'm glad Amare's gone.

He is one of the most unintelligent players I've ever observed in my life.

Yeah, I remember the playoff game where he scored on an And-1 against the Spurs, then proceeded to do push-ups during his celebration before the free-throw attempt. Phoenix went on to lose the game and I've thought of Amare as a buffoon ever since.

What is the likelihood that they actually approve the proposal?

I need the NBA, right now. The Rangers lost the World Series and the Bills are quickly fading, I need the Spurs (even if they don't contend) or this Winter is going to suck.

Zero. Best case scenario: They go back to the NBA and say we are willing to accept the deal if you make these small changes. Worst case scenario: They file for decertification, reject the deal and the league changes its offer to 47%
