Re: NBA Lockout and Collective Bargaining Agreement Discussion

Simmons said that their are 13 no votes and Cle/Phx are surprisingly not one of them.

According to Simmons, here are the no's: Cha, Mil, Ind, Was, Min, Por, OKC, Mem, Sac, Den, Phi, Atl + Utah.

    Im surprised about OKC.

If a deal doesnt get done today, its on the owners. They got the 50 percent. They got the 350 mil a year in givebacks. They have to do some giving today and it needs to be significant.

Keep Kessler, Jordan and Allen out of the room and lets make a deal.

Players' offer to reduce their share from 57% to 50% is a more than $3 billion concession over a 10-year deal.

I do think the owners can budge on the MLE

I don't think the NBA needs sign and trades anymore

I also don't think that players need to worry about what the lux tax rate is

I think this blows up one more time (ie today)........and then they will re-group and get the deal done.

Im afraid that will happen to, Im not going to believe anything about "progress is being made" I've been optimistic for a while now & Im done with it. My hopes are down it aint coming back. Season is over , I know whats going to happen exactly today.... NO SEASON , PLAYERS WILL DISAGREE ONCE AGAIN , NO DEAL WILL BE MADE , GAMES WILL BE CANCELLED.
I dont care how much tweets I see from broussard or kenberg or nytimes saying "progress is being made" Im not falling for that again.
Until I hear LOCK OUT IS DONE then thats the real deal
