At this point I only want them to end this freaking lockout so 2k12 can unlock the freaking rookies
EA and 2k have the unfortunate task of trying to balance on a tightrope of fun and sim while trying not to fall 10,000 feet to their death. Instead of a safety net waiting down below there will just be angry customers quick to move out of the way and talk of their failure.

Correct. I've been wrong before but I think they will get in the room tomorrow.

Stern is taken aback by Hunter's Christmas cancellation claim. Stern threatened to wipe out Christmas games on Oct. 19, in front of cameras

For the record... decertification is a joke at this point... should have played this card in July... won't cost season, but it could.

Good for them. Let them play for their contract, and their contract only. Definitely glad that Paul Pierce is the one leading them over this cliff...

They can use his wheelchair to wheel them all back when they lose the Decert hearing.

In the Owners' hands now(which we all know isn't a good thing)if the Players are willing to take 50/50 but the Owners just at least give them the scraps off the table.

I hope the players hold out and force the owners hand. Because as of know the leagues "deal" will kill parity. It will become even more of an league of elitist teams with wealthy owners. The whole point of the new system is to save owners from themselves. If the original luxury tax couldn't stop large rev teams from over spending why would this system? It will just force medium rev teams that may have gone in the luxury to stay out of the tax range. This combine with the amnesty rule will kill parity in basketball even further. And the small/med rev owners won't care because of the new BRI split and rev sharing will net them good money. If any deal without a cap on spending goes through parity will be crippled.

Sources close to decert movement confirm they've collected signatures this week but also know WEDS deal-or-no deal deadline takes precedence

                            ESPNSteinLine Marc Stein
If there's no deal by Wednesday and deadline is not extended, then you can safely assume decert petition WILL be filed soon thereafter

But even if decert petition IS filed, union and league could/would continue to negotiate during those 45 days while NLRB sets up vote

Well, can't wait for the nba to vote and approve decert, lose in court. Have no season and the owners can write their own cba for 2012. Good luck spoiled babies. I hope the owners clean you out.
