I say give Kwame some time. It took KG, Kobe, TMac, and Jermaine some time before they all became superstars. At least wait until this year is over before calling him the worst #1 pick of all time.

Personally, I think Joe Smith was kinda bad as well as the Kandi man. But that's just me.

I too think Kwame will be ok in a few years...I think he has enough of the tool sets to be great...he will just be a late bloomer like you said...

I can see it now, with Derek Fisher, point guard of the 2001 LA Lakers leading the charge.

The 96 Bulls would disrespectfully hand the Lakers their behinds. You'd see Kobe being suckered everytime he tried to guard MJ. The 80's Pistons, Lakers, and Celtics would manhandle that team. Kobe would've been eaten alive by the Pistons defense. The Celtics wouldn't even blink in that contest. Let's not talk about Magic's Lakers. No way in the World. Too many weapons.

As for the Dream, even with Shaq as fat as he is now, Hakeem in his prime would've gave him a lesson in how to be a center with real fundamentals 101.

            <hr /></blockquote><font class="post">

If you honestly believe that the 96 Bulls would beat the 2001 Lakers, than hey, I have no comment. Basketball was weak when Jordan was winning, and the best team in the west was Utah.....I'd feel sorry for Luc Longley, and Jordan and Kobe still score 30. You can make all the points you want about Jordan killing Kobe, but Kobe was giving Jordan good matchups when he first got in the league, and he's only better now. Heck Kobe wasn't even needed in 2001, Shaq was a freaky Frankinstein.

LOL!! Now Kobe could hang with MJ in his prime!!!

Man, you really need to pay closer attention to basketball. You may want to re-evaluate that statement. That is really a killer right there. Nobody could stop MJ, and as hard as all teams tried collectively, they couldn't do it. As for the L being weak then, I think you can't see what's happening now. The L hasn't been weaker if ever at all at this present time.
