Guys remember, this amnesty clause is a one-time thing. Some teams may not use it this year, and some teams may not need to.

Don't know how I missed it, but Keith Bogans was pulled from the basketball court. Bulls could be considering a sign-and-trade with the Hawks for Jamal Crawford. However, that was 2 hours ago.

I got to talk to somebody who knows about the sports agency business in the NBA and NHL and that's what this person told me. The person told me that's why all of his sources are unnamed because they are agents and never executives or front office people.

The bulls hasn't pick up the option on Bogans. Don't want the risk of getting hurt.

Yeah that would make sense if he's considering more than 1 guy to drop (BG & CV) so he can evaluate them this year, or try to trade one (or both) by the deadline, then if unsuccessful, using it in the offseason. Unless Gordon is atrocious this year I can't imagine it being used on him though, not now.

Hearing Tyson Chandler's deal w/Knicks WILL end up as sign-and-trade w/Mavs, but Dallas will take back TBA low-salaried player Knicks choose
                      ............................

Mavs' goal in that scenario would be creating sizable trade exception, since Chandler's first-year salary w/Knicks will be more than $12 mil

I doubt it.. Man Glen Grunwald is putting in work... It also let's us keep our MLE...

EDIT: We would lose the MLE, but would still have the 2.5 mil exception.

Lakers get Paul, Ariza and Okafor

Rockets get Gasol and Steve Blake.

Seems fair enough to me. Lakers take back crummy contracts, Rockets get Blake and the Hornets get the same deal, but clear off a ton of cap space in two years.
This deal would be much better than the first one for the Lakers. I think that squad would be capable of winning a title.

Do this today: Instead of $%*#!@& on a game you're not going to play or movie you're not going to watch, say something good about a piece of media you're excited about.

Do the same thing tomorrow. And the next. Now do it forever.

                                Vince to the Mavs..

Sources tell ESPN that Mavs closing in on signing of Vince Carter and could have deal to reunite VC w/Jason Kidd done as early as Saturday
