Exactly. Rondo's the cog that has kept this team at least in the championship conversation for the past 2 years, and should be the centerpiece moving forward out of the Big 3 era as well. The only way Ainge would be smart to deal him is if there was some guarantee to get another marquee PG or Dwight Howard.

Isn't this like the 3rd time a report has come out saying Ainge was trying to trade Rondo? Swear I've heard a similar story like this a few times in the last couple of years??#RespectTheCultureComment

You have. There was some just before he signed the contract extension, and then I think there were also some even before that saying he was a problem in the locker room.Originally posted by bradtxmaleI like 6 inches. Its not too thin and not too thick. You get the support your body needs.

Oh, and btw, if you guys think Rondo was keeping things afloat in Boston and made those three look good, CP3 will take it another level above... I would do it. It would extend the three's careers by at least a few years IMO.
But yeah, Rondo's stay in Boston doesn't seem so certain, especially beyond next year when KG goes extinct and Ray Ray/PP become less efficient.
I still think Rondo is one of the best PG's in the league, and when he played with that broken elbow or whatever, that was ridiculous.Last edited by ex carrabba fan; 11-30-2011, 12:31 AM.Comment

Yep, there's been smoke that Rondo is a me me me guy even though he likes dishing out assists on the court. IMO it could be misunderstood as a younger guy trying to tell the older vets that they need to do this or that, not necessarily that Rondo is selfish or looking for shine. Nonetheless it seems like he's caused some locker room issues over the past few years.

Probably has more to do with people knowing the NBA still owns the Hornets and the last thing it would do is trade away it's prime money maker especially when they're still looking for an owner.#RespectTheCultureComment

Apparently Chris Broussard reported the Rondo for Paul trade. He dropped this gem about a half hour ago via Twitter.
"Boston offered Rondo & Jeff Green to OKC for Westbrook & KPerkins after last season's playoffs. OKC was not interested, sources say."
I think his "sources" are the 2k12 My Player rumor mill.Last edited by areobee401; 11-30-2011, 01:08 AM.Comment

The only thing that worries me about CP3 is those bum wheels. No doubt he is a special player and if both are healthy I'd take Paul over Rondo but I'm still dubious that Paul will have a long career whereas Rondo seems a bit more durable.Comment

Re: Official POST-LOCKOUT Player Movement Thread (Trades, FAs, etc)
Hearing from a few folks that cover the Nets that Nene, Caron Butler, Tayshaun Prince and Tyson Chandler are the top targets for BK.
Prince and Butler I wouldn't mind bringing in if it's on a one year deal. Good perimeter defenders and decent mid range shooters.
Chandler, I'd pass especially if we're to make a run at Duhwight next year plus I don't see Cuban letting him go anyway.
Nene-For $10-$12 Mil, I'd consider him but anything more than that then I'll pass.#RespectTheCultureComment

Deron's coming back to America now... but not before this

This guy who wrote this blurb is a fool too
Beşiktaş honored Williams before their game today, and raised his jersey to the rafters. Williams averaged 21.8 PPG and 6.5 APG in his time in Istanbul, and says he hopes to return one day.
The TBL is especially hard-hit by the resumption of the NBA, with Zaza Pachulia(notes), Thabo Sefolosha(notes), Semih Erden(notes) and Mehmet Okur(notes) returning to their American teams. It's not all bad, though: Sasha Vujacic(notes) will stay with his Turkish team through the end of the year.Comment

But those draft picks will probably be lottery unless they're protected.. so idk.
Maybe it was an anomaly, but I just smh at one of the weirdest regressions I've seen in sports in a long time.Comment
