We'll see if the Nets front office can manage building a multi-team trade that can pull it off. Hope Mitch is working double time.

@KBergCBS Ken Berger
Nets will need third or fourth team to get Dwight, but source says "will not be a problem."
Look at his history, it's almost ALL he does lol#RespectTheCultureComment

Something's not right with the Lakers-CP3 thing. I'm wondering - could there be a mystery team getting involved with the trade? Is David Stern actively negotiating with the other teams? Somethings about to go down. But first: The Heisman presentationComment

Another factor to contemplate The wording is Dwight's "Agent" can explore trading options. I think it's funny that the first word we get on it is a financial figure. Don't want to dismiss that perhaps Dwight's agent spoke with those few FO's to gauge the money, and the Buss family, or Cuban, could only pony up a specific about because of not figuring out a financially feasible way to do it? Seems like very good leverage to make more $$, especially when his agent is so heavily implicated. Nets may have most $ to promise to Dwight.Follow me on Twitter@DrewGarrisonSBNComment

If anything, they know Dwight is gone by tonight and they're spending to get to that cap floor. Right?Comment

Yeah I guess that's the only explanation. Considering Brook Lopez's SUPER low salary as well, thats a very big dot to connect.Follow me on Twitter@DrewGarrisonSBNComment

I'd certainly think so.Comment

Re: Official POST-LOCKOUT Player Movement Thread (Trades, FAs, etc)
LoL, It's not that. Buss Family would have no problem giving Dwight maximum money, but because of CBA restrictions not sure how high up Lakers could go because of their salary structure for the projectable future. I'm sure pretty much any organization would be willing to offer Dwight 5 yrs Max money. Maybe putting pressure on Mavs/Lakers to find a way to promise a similar figure? (Picturing Mitch frantically piecing together ways to make it work)
And sheesh those cutouts are terribly done. The Russian needs a new artist, lol.Follow me on Twitter@DrewGarrisonSBNComment

Idk, wasn't really paying attention haha. Kinda forgot what this thread was, I've basically been refreshing over and over. Figured maybe people would want to know. I'll probably delete it anyway.Comment

Re: Official POST-LOCKOUT Player Movement Thread (Trades, FAs, etc)
In the latest details available to Yahoo! Sports, sources say that New Orleans would send the Lakers Paul, and possibly two Hornets free agents – center Jason Smith and Marcus Banks – would be sent to the Lakers in sign-and-trade agreements.
The Rockets would send Kevin Martin, Luis Scola, a 2012 first-round pick and possibly young players or additional picks to the Hornets.
The Lakers would send Lamar Odom to the Hornets, Pau Gasol to the Rockets and league sources say that Los Angeles was pursuing a first-round pick to send to the Hornets.Comment

Well you did say "totally unrelated news" so I'm pretty sure you knew what thread you were posting in.
It's tough following this thread, I'll leave for an hour and come back with like 10-15 pages to read. Has it been said what the Celtics are giving up for David West?Comment
