    Not really IMO.

Jamal is the same player he's always been. He's not a system player. I could see him clashing with STAT and Melo quickly.

Plus he would take minutes and development away from Iman Shumpert who I feel has a ton of upside.

If the Knicks sign Shawne Williams...the roster will be more "rounded-out" IMO.

I just don't buy for one second that it's dead. Remember, CP3 to the Lakers was "dead" too and what just happened yesterday?

Melo to the Knicks was "dead" at some point last year and what happened?

Point is you don't make all this progress and then just say it's dead just like that, especially when your star player has supposedly told them that they'll lose him for nothing.

You do know that OutLOL would not be traded and would've gotten cut right?
Yeah, I agree, except I don't think Dwight is getting traded period.

Also I just added Outlaw because they were $5M over the cap and I needed something to give to POR, so I just threw in anyone lol.

Point I was trying to make was, Orlando went from legit playoff team to bottom feeder, and all they were getting was Gerald Wallace and a bunch of (mist likely lottery-protected) 1st round picks in the future.

What exactly can Shumpert do? I'm not being funny , just remember the pick got booed, and experts were saying all he could do was dunk and play defense.

I'm fully expecting to come home tomorrow from work and read that a 4 way deal for Howard is near completion.

This is getting pretty old quickly.

Well...we've seen none of him besides his play in the summer.

But seeing how we got swiss-cheesed by Rondo in the playoffs last year...a defensive PG as opposed to Mike Bibby coming off the bench is a huge plus.

He's crazy athletic and seems to have worked on his jumpshot. I think we might have gotten a really good player in Shump.

It could be me just hoping though.

MJ putting a pretty decent squad together. Nice.

Reggie Williams has agreed to a two-year deal, $5 million deal with Charlotte, a league source tells Y! Sports.

But at the sametime, you keep repeating the samething over and over and over. "Oooooh Cuban's got cap space next year, he's going to get Deron and Duhwight!!!" We get it man....we heard you the first 5 times already

I have friends who are Nets fans and they are like...annoyingly upset right now. Like pissing me off.

The Nets still have a ton of cap space and an All-Star player. It's not the end of the world.

Amar'e had the Knicks in playoff contention for half a season last year by himself. Who knows how far DWill can carry them in the interim.

Maybe healthy Brook is back and plays like an All-Star.

If I was a Nets fan...I'd only be mad at my own front office for putting all their eggs in one basket for so long. They could've had some pretty decent players in the meantime while they were waiting on Duhwight.

                          Yeah just read that.

But I don't think getting Dwight Howard is the only way Deron is staying. Just like Orlando has to add some talent and show commitment to WINNING, the Nets have to also. There will be plenty of guys out there available for trade, so the Nets have to capitalize.

Nail on head. Waiting for this Dwight **** made the damn team miss out on other FA signings. That's what's got me annoyed.

So all we have to show for it is.....Shelden Williams. Aka Jason Collins 2.0. If I was the Russian someone would be getting the thousand cuts right about now.

I still refuse to acknowledge some of that dumb Dare' on NetsDaily.

Don't know how it would be able to be pulled off but some fans are calling for a trade for Josh Smith. Would be a nice wing player but I don't see what ATL would want and why they'd do it.
