For me this trade is only worth it if Paul re-signs and his left knee holds out.

I don't care about him being called a "spectator." Dell "The Supervillain" Demps did that trade.

          ITS THE CLIPPERS THOUGH

They're the same team that had Elton Brand 20/10 guy... and had high draft picks and took Melvin Ely and Chris Wilcox and didn't trade any of them

I would LOVE that. Come home to LA, Trevor. U should've never left.

              Crazy deal. Ballsy deal.

This helps the Suns because Gordon will surely be bouncing from NOH after this season. We will have a great shot to sign him considering the cap space we will have and PHX always being a FA destination.

Looking at that roster I'd assume Randy Foye will run the 2 (6'4") with rookie Travis Leslie (I guess?) backing him up...

In my opinion, you gotta do what you gotta do. Chris Paul = only player in NBA history to average a career double-double in the playoffs.

That alone would sell it for me. Well, that and the way he inspired NO to actually compete with the Lakers in the playoffs last year.

Not so fast. Gordon is sitll on his rookie deal and would be a RFA after that contract is up.

So as far as the player option for next year, is that just a verbal deal.

Must suck to be Eric Gordon. A young future all star getting traded from a up an coming team with Blake full of excitement to a team loaded with garbage an you don't even know who your owner is. When is his contract up?

NO would be CRAZY to put Ariza on Amnesty. He progressed so much lst year, especially against the Lakers.

Ironically, Ariza has played with Dwight Howard, Chris Paul, and the Lakers/Kobe Bryant

Exactly. I don't like CP3 but come on now.

CP3 + Blake gives you a fighting chance.

Eric Gordon & Blake gives you scoring and highlights but we're talking wins here. CP3 knows how to win.

And he's going out there with a MAJOR chip on his shoulder.

Gordon in PHX would be a basketball dream.

And The Clippers have Travis Leslie?! Oh man, must watch TV for me.
