Ironically, he beat Josh McRoberts, who the Lakers are close to signing, in the 2005 McDonalds All-American dunk contest. I always like his potential, he was compared to T-Mac coming out, and he's only 25...

Perfect. Mitch going to start patching in the meantime. Love signing Green, hopefully McRoberts comes through, then all that's left is grabbing a PG (Still smells like Arenas to me).

              Roland Lazenby:

General manager Gar Forman said the formality of Rose’s five-year, $94 million extension is being finalized with Rose’s agents, Arn Tellem and B.J. Armstrong. ‘Derrick is the centerpiece of what we’re putting together here,’ Forman said. ‘We want Derrick to be a Bull for a long, long time. It’s very important that we put the right pieces around Derrick.’”

I think i saw somewhere that Arenas had the 3rd worst shooting season in the history of the nba for a guard. Anybody else just think he's done all together?

                    Well...

Apparently his finger got caught on a rim as a kid, and it broke off or something. They had to amputate it, so I imagine he's been playing with it his whole life.

Here's what he's been up to in China this year though:

I think there are a couple more vids for any interested Laker fans. Apparently he's still got it...I'd be surprised if he couldn't beat out a guy like Luke Walton, especially since they have a hold at the SF position.

Not when he's still better than our PGs in all likelihood. Not many would entertain it. I think Arenas would do well in a Lakers uni. Not saying return to hibachi, but at least serviceable for a team featuring Steve Blake and Fisher

Hoping they consider amnestying Blake, haven't heard word on Luke retiring but I know it's been in debate.

Yeah, it looks like he's done work on it. If he makes the team and the Lakers can tap into his potential, he could be a decent rotation player or starter even. He is only 25, not exactly washed up.

This I'm nor even a Lakers fan and all I can do is smh. Dude just is lacking in basketball smarts (or should I say basketball IQ) there's a reason they despite how athletic bro is he didn't find a home in the NBA.
