Now here's a interesting scenario who do the Clippers amnesty Moe Williams or Kris Kaman?

If it's Kaman I'm pretty sure dallas will be all over him
I don't think they'll amnesty either. Kaman can split minutes with Jordan until Jordan gets better (If the Clips match), and he will be a free agent next year, and Mo Williams would be a good backup PG/6th man if Caron Butler starts. Clips would be wise to keep both.

But considering every team, they can legitimately finish as the 4th seed in the West. The Lakers can finish as low as 6th, I'd think, behind the Thunder, Grizzlies, Mavs, Clippers, Spurs. And the Suns and Rockets are always in contention to scrap their way into the 8th seed. I'd say that's contending.

Kobe HAS to be pissed right now, and Laker fans should be too. Everyone in the West is getting better right now, and they got worse by trading their third best player. The only thing the Thunder did was resign Daequan Cook to a 2-year deal, I think. Other than that, their whole team was intact, minus the rookies.
Clippers aren't 3rd best talent wise. There are bad teams that have more talent than them at this moment in time. Didn't mean said teams are better but from just talent alone they're definitely short.

And all three of them can legitimately score. I ain't saying they'll be blowing teams out the water for sure, but they definitely have a lot of talent that can produce now.

It was some best team thread in the 2k forums. Needless to say their was copious amounts of Alex Brady sprinkled in said thread. It's like he has a 6th sense for those kind of things.

Yeah, I don't know about them being 4th because of Billups now. If I had to choose, I'd still put them in the 7-8 range right now as it stands.

Clippers bid 3.5 mil on Chauncey LOL. Now retire Chauncey like you claimed you would if you didn't go to the Heat

I'm just saying they could legitimately finish 4th. We all know 4th-8th (even 9th and 10th) in the West is basically a crap shoot that comes down to the end of the season.

They think I’ll be OK with this. I won’t be OK with this. I’ve saved my money. I may just retire if I don’t get my freedom here.

“I want my freedom. My goal is to control my own destiny. And as you’ve seen in my career, I’ve never been in a position to do that. I know some teams out there are saying, ‘Oh, Chauncey will be great in mentoring’ and I’m tired of that. I’ve got a few good years left to play, and I’m not trying to come in and sit on the bench, or be a mentor. I’m not going to be that guy. I want to go somewhere and win. I want to choose.

If I were the Clippers, I'd send Billups an email with this in it.

                        <iframe width="560" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/8ylHLMXrfNA" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

Then I'd say, "See you at camp."

Reports say Stern sent a letter to GMs encouraging them to bid on Billups and telling them to state to Billups that it will be a breach of contract if he doesn't report.

The NBA really has got themselves into a massive mess with NO and CP.

The Clipps hold all the aces...they can just walk away and say "hey, no trade".

At some point the NBA is going to start to panic and think about the long term damage that NOT trading CP3 will have...someone is going to get him very cheaply at some point. They showed all their cards by rejecting the Lakers and now are stuck.

David Stern has gone into full on troll mode now.

Encouraging teams to bid on Billups?

Dude is going to stifle player movement/choice anyway he can.
