    Stern's not playing anymore, damn.

And for people wondering why I keep typing Outlaw, it's because this was something that was created on NetsDaily. So instead of typing out a bunch *****'s when you're cursing, you just think of the worst player that has ever played for your team and use their name instead.

So for example, let's say you're a Cavs Fan and you think Vitaly Potapenko is the worst player that ever played for your team. Instead of saying something "Mother ******" or "Son of a *****", you just say "Mother Potapenko" or "Son of a Potapenko" or "What the Potapenko is that?".

If you're a Bulls Fan, you can say someone like Marcus Fizer-"What the Fizer is this".

Wizards Fan-Tyrone Nesby(Holy Nesby or Son of a Nesby).
I know I'm late on this but Outlaw? Really? When we've had YINKA DARE on the team?

The long term damage is nothing.

It's clear the NBA doesn't give a damn about the NOH. They want them to either fold or go to another city. At this point, it's all about either getting someone to buy or limiting the amount of assets New Orleans has so they can be easily folded into the rest of the NBA.

Stern can't fold now. If he even thinks about conceding to the same deal the Lakers were offering, which would be less without Odom, than he'd look more like a fool. He has to continue to hardball now, because he put himself and the league in that corner, or let CP3 walk.

I think I heard Broussard () mention that if the Hornets did contract, all the players on the team would go into some sort of "draft" where all 29 teams would have a fair shake at getting them.

            Maybe that's Stern's endgame?

They are definetly a playof team...and Billups and Butler gives them two solid veterans in the starting lineup.

I guess being a 4th seed is a reach but they could claim the 5th or 6th seed.

I know i wouldn't want to play them in the 1st round if I'm the Lakers, Mavs or Thunder

Out of EVERYONE who has a hand in this CP3 saga, the real losers in this is the city of New Orleans and the fans.

This is a city that is STILL recovering from Hurricane Katrina. God bless the fact that the Saints won a Super Bowl and became winners, but this city holds the Hornets just at close to their hearts as the Saints, probably. And Stern is just screwing them over to make a point.

Not to start this again but majority felt Odom was worthless to NO. Mitch turned Odom into a pick and added salary relief in its purest form (TPE) (two things the league claimed were necessary for NO). Stern has lost "leverage" seemingly losing one of the few packages on the market.

Make what you want of it, but I haven't heard Houston not wanting Pau still, and now another possible trade had been thrown into the fire. Stern willing to risk losing one of the other few viable packages? Guess he has to veto GSW next, though I think GSW would be foolish going to the table at this point, would likely only damage their team.

Not to hold anything against the New Orleans but they pretty much had to be forced to buy tickets last season and this season with threats of the Hornets moving it wad that bad nothing against them but hey them's the ropes.

Also, anybody think it's a chance Dwight wants the Magic to go after Jamal Crawford or Rip Hamilton?

Gotta disagree with you there, Jay. NOTHING comes close to NO's love of the Saints. Nothing. The Hornets could move and the city would forget about it in a year or 2.

Regardless, if he accepts a Lakers deal with one less player, it makes him look like a complete fool. If the first two deals weren't good enough for him, then what would make him accept essentially the same deal with either one less player or a weaker asset? Stern would have to be really desperate, but as the lockout proved, I doubt he gets desperate.

As for GS...yeah I agree. They had to convince Monta to work out his relationship/chemistry with Steph, and I'd still say that chemistry is shaky right now. If GS offered Steph again and had it denied, that could affect the entire team chemistry.

Would Laker fans be concerned or is this an overreaction?
