Don't they put one up every year. I would say for the last 3-4 years. They always put together a very nice roster. But for some reason (mostly injuries) They never bring it all together. Anyone think it has something to do with water or air?

He only gave up 0.71 points per possession in isolation (compared to for example, LeBron who gave up 0.78 points per possession) and on a 36 minute basis, 1.5 steals and 0.6 blocks per game, which isn't too shabby. And he has a monster wingspan at 7'3.25". Basically, he was probably one of the best athletes in the draft last year and is already a very good defender. Any development offensively is just a bonus.
Hey, Trevor Ariza was kind of considered the same thing. Not comparing him to Ariza, but saying if he puts in the overtime, he could become a nice player.

I think the Bulls signing Rip will end up being one of the most significant additions of the season. Seriously, it seems like a perfect fit. No reason the Bulls shouldn't come out of the East.

Got my tickets for the Wizards-Nets game on Opening Night(Sec 113, Row A which are basically on the floor). Figured at least since they(Nets)suck right now I can get a good deal and I damn sure did.

Now the only problem is that any I've gone to see my teams play in person, my teams are like 0-8 combined

I see they have no love for the Mike Bibby signing

Mike Bibby – Knicks. Old, slow, defenseless, and in the way. Yes, he’s a terrific one-on-none shooter, and to be of any help he must take full advantage of whatever kick-out passes he receives when opposing defenses cluster around Carmelo Anthony and Amare Stoudemire. Nor is Bibby a good fit in Mike D’Antoni’s beep-beep offense.

With the Knicks losing out on Shawne Williams, they will turn to a group of veterans that includes Michael Redd, Troy Murphy and Mo Evans.

Knicks should go after Redd. Hadn't seen him play in a while, but I imagine he can still shoot the rock.

I'm tempted to go see Dallas pre season with OKC but seeing Odom in Mavs blue might be too much to stomach right now. Still... Also dying for some nba action and the charity game I went to a month ago just didn't cut it.

The signing is blah and I don't think he'll play more than 10 minutes a game or be on our roster by March but all he needs to do is knock down open threes.

And our offense was far from "beep-beep" once we acquired Melo. We were a half court team, average tempo for the most part.

And finally, for the vet min, who really cares?

Same here. Though it may have something to do with the fact that I live in Chicago and those are the only Rockets games I can attend annually. I hear they have a pretty decent team.
