Wait, so if your unhappy, you don't have the right to ASK to be traded? I mean, it IS a right. Just as much as a guy can ask for a trade, a team can say no.
What, so if I move into an apartment for a year, but 6 months in my unit gets infested with mice, do I have to live there until the end of my contract, THEN leave? I can't request to either have the problem fixed, or the option ot be released from the contract?#RespectTheCultureComment

Yeah IDK about Perk losing all that weight. I saw him in other pics as well, and I was wondering why he would do that.
His main strengths were to bully people with his size. Kinda worried about him, but we'll see him play soon.Comment

Re: Official POST-LOCKOUT Player Movement Thread (Trades, FAs, etc)
Basically, your saying that a player has no right to want out of a contract that he "signed up for." Even if circumstances occur that would be detrimental to that player and team occur.
Guess what? He did play out his first contract. He signed another one, believing the Hornets would get better talent and make strides towards competing. They start regressing and repeatedly getting knocked out the 1st-round. Now, he's unhappy, and he asks to be traded.
And I'm just making a comparison in my second paragraph, but Ill make a better one: What if the Hornets told Paul, "You're the future of our franchise." Then they just decide to not play him at all. Should he still play out his contract?Comment

. Plus, this could extend his career a couple years and actually give him better movement and flexibility on offense.

So is playing out your contract and leaving not simple?
