Additionally, the Nuggets will get a huge trade exception out of this. If my cap math is right, they can slot both Turiaf and McGee just inside the $7 million exception left over from the Raymond Felton deal (seriously, how giddy must the Nuggets be about that trade?), and thus can do a straight deal of Nene into a $13 million exception.

Basically, they amnestied Nene and got players back.

Alright its all said and done. Its time to play. Crash, DWill, Swag Mamba, Sticky Fingaz Green and the rest are enough to at least make the 8 seed in the east I mean thats WTF Billy King is banking on this season for some reason. But lets go. It is what it is. I'll worry about the offseason when it comes.

Still think that we could have got Crash for Houston's pick instead of our own with the way Portland was Fire Sale-ing.

Please no KG in the offseason though.

I'll gladly take that first round pick in this draft, even if it means taking Walton back.

The thing about the Cavs taking Walton - it's a perfect fit. Cavs dont need the cap room but need the draft picks, so Luke doesn't hurt very much as he's expiring next year. Was a match made in heaven, just glad Mitch had the balls to say "Hey how about you take on Luke too" with a straight face. lol.

Still can't believe how quickly the Blazers went from trying to contend to rebuild mode though. It's like they nuked the place.

If you're gonna blow it up, you might as well REALLY blow it up. The thing is, they wanted to shed even more players. Felton, Crawford, and Wes Matthews were all being actively shopped. I've read that they will buy out Shawne Williams too, so they don't even want to keep a guy they just got in a trade.

I'd bet they are gonna run a ton of youth from here on out. Babbitt, Elliot Williams and Nolan Smith specifically.

Its still no fun when half the league is making trades just to start all over

So glad we got a 1st round pick for Sessions, opens up even more playing time for Kyrie and hopefully Manny Harris. Didnt understand taking back Walton until I found out we have to the option to swap our MIA pick for LAL pick, I will always take more options. For LA, I cannot wait to see what Sessions and Eyenga do on defense under Browns defense, he will get them to buy into his system and they will be better because of it. If Kobe can let Sessions play his game, LAL offense will get better, but if goes back to Kobe one on one and not feeding the post, its a waste of a move. Which leads to my next question for LAL fans, would you have Sessions starting or coming off the bench?

Eyenga is going to the D-League for a bit, Mitch addressed that at his press conference today, so we'll see what happens with that.

As far as sessions, he will be the starter, but I imagine he will get eased in as he learns his way around everything. Looking for an immediate impact at the point so it's his starting job, plus we shipped out Fisher.

Sessions will definitely improve under Mike Brown's d, definitely looking forward to having a -real- point guard presence on the team finally.

                      pleasure doing business.

That stupidity was coming off the books after this year

I think it was dumber to take on Nene's contract and combine that with Rashard Lewis contract

I'm not sure what the hell Washington was thinking but they already handuffed themsleves taking on Lewis contract now your stuck with Nene's horrible deal not to mention Blatche has like 3 years left on his deal

Thats good for him, hopefully he becomes a plus for you guys. His athletism and defense could help. Sessions improved a lot this season, so him learning a few things shouldn't be a problem. Best thing for him is he has two finishers around the rim to play pick and roll with in Gasol and Bynum. Solid mid range game and he is shooting 40% from 3 this year, if he can continue with that percentage getting feeds from Kobe and the bigs, that would be huge. I hope Mike Brown improves under his own defense, its his defense. What he did with our Cavs teams on defense was great.

That's the plan - and every reason I was hoping Lakers would focus in on Sessions instead of Felton or someone else. Can't wait to see once everyone settles in.
