Like the T-Mac move. He's a great ball handler for his size, and can take some of the load off Rose.

I've been out of the loop during the lockout for the most part, could someone please summarize the JR Smith China situation?

      Thanks

JR went to China...behaved like a spoilt kid, threw a tantrum, faked an injury and then begged not to be cut.

Lockout over = he'll be out of there in 5 seconds.

Personally, I hope it works out. Mac's career / legacy desperately needs a strong finish.
IDK man, I really doubt there's any chance of undermining someone as respected as Thibbs.

I really don't think there's 1% chance he disrupts chemistry.

Now if this is Chicago's lone answer to their perimeter problems, then it's a horrible decision. I'm assuming they're gonna pick someone else up...

Yeah, I really hope it works. Mac is at the point in his career that they could cut him if he does anything wrong and, as you said, Thibbs won't put up with crap. D-Rose loves him, so it would be good to see it work out.

Tracy going out with a big finish would be nice to see

Very opinionated, you sound rather ignorant and don't know what your talking about. You don't know these dudes but speak like a scorned coach or player. Stop listening to the media, and watch basketball. I think if the bulls pick up t-Mac, good move but I don't know what he could bring, I don't expect much maybe 10 points a game.

You realize this was a question where watching basketball wasn't necessary to answering. I asked him for a brief summary and he gave me one. And if you feel it necessary to call him ignorant and tell him he doesn't know what he is talking about, you should at least post what you think.

McGrady and Thibbs worked together in HOU just fine

That said, there is no done deal...

Also, he did just fine in DET, it was just a messed up situation overall with the team in a pending sale mess, tons of guards and forwards and it was Hamilton and Keuster feuding not Mcgrady, c'mon

Anyway, no thats still not Chicago's answer though but its definitely better than Keith Bogans starting for you

If anything this guy has great court vision to get passes into the post and around the court, he's still a threat, just not a 30ppg threat every night

Hill would be a good fit in Dallas

But i would personally rather have Butler, Marion and Corey Brewer all on the roster to take up that SF spot

In fact Brewer needs to see the floor more because he adds length and speed to the rotation.

They aren't getting any younger so i think it's important that both Brewer and Roddy B move up the depth chart and replace Peja and JJB respectively off that bench.

Would love to have JJB back but i think it's time for Roddy B to assume that role

So i believe a healthy Caron Butler is a better offensive option than Hill and then the upside of Brewer and Roddy B is greater than Peja and JJB which means the Mavs can actually get better from within without actually targeting any free-agents accept their own.

Have to agree that T-Mac isn't a bad temporary solution, as noted... Bogans? LoL. Detroit was definitely a toxic situation, and McGrady actually played pretty solid in limited minutes under pretty bad circumstances.

                            yes

T-Mac is still a solid all around player....he's not the scorer he used to be but his playmaking ability is still above avg

He can be a Point Forward type for them and allow D.Rose to play off the ball a little...

This lineup is really pretty good IMO D.Rose, T-Mac, Deng, Boozer and Noah

Heck if i were Chicago i would even look into signing Nene and possibly sliding Noah over to PF bringing Boozer off the bench as your 6th man
