I see their point, but in my opinion they can't just undo this and Stern will eventually be forced to let the trade go through.

Yeah guess it make sense to make the Buss family pay 90 mil a year so owners not willing to invest in their team because they don't know how to build a team can reap the benefits.

I don't consider Pau/Odom for CP3 and Ariza/Okafor worse than Brook Lopez and 2 low teen first round picks for the best center in the league. In fact is much better.
Try to be objective when you respond. Not saying you must agree but take off your anti laker/anti player's being able to be traded where they want hat.

Not really. He never said he wasn't going to NO. He complained about it but plenty of players have complained about being traded from a team they like playing for. If he said "I'm not reporting to NO" that would be different.

I think I have found the trade, ladies and gentleman:

Hornets get the same deal + whatever picks.

Lakers get Paul, Ariza and Okafor

Rockets get Gasol and Steve Blake.

Seems fair enough to me. Lakers take back crummy contracts, Rockets get Blake and the Hornets get the same deal, but clear off a ton of cap space in two years.

I'm not anti-Lakers at all, but I think trading a low-tier all-star and a 6th man with psych problems for a top 5 player and a double double machine is nowhere near as even as trading the best center and a bad contract for possibly a top 5 center and multiple 1st round picks.

You are aware that every team has to spend up to about 95% of the cap now, right?

No more not investing in the team.

You need to stop acting so damn bitter, dude.

I would take that deal in a heart beat. U been fooling around with the ESPN trade machine, huh?

Only 85% this year. Really only a difference of 8-10 mil a year for cheapskate owners like the Maloofs.

                        Yeah, just messin with it.

There is no way any team but the Lakers, in a three team trade, could get Okafor and Ariza.

Either way, getting rid of those contracts means the Hornets, in two years, have a ton of cap space. Could be attractive to a buyer for the Hornets, especially if the Hornets get moved.

He will report tomorrow. The guy was understandably blindsided and was upset about it. He met with Mitch today and I bet he will be back tomorrow. He handled this situation wrong but by no means is he untradable now.
