Does nothing for you at all? We all know the big deal we wanna see them make, but since that ain't happening apparently I'd rather get Rip than have Crawford. Afflalo is a pipe dream at this point as Denver is gonna match whatever we offer. What other answer is there at 2?

Like I said a few pages back. The kid can flat out ball. Celtics never should have traded him to the Nets. He will without a doubt be an all star one day.

I don't know. Rip just seems like father time has gotten a hold of him. Maybe about 3-4 years ago, I probably would have been good with it. BUT watching him last year, he definitely doesn't look the same. Maybe because it was with a crappy Pistons team? Maybe a change of scenery might help? Not sure. But looking at it from hindsight, I'm not sure about him.

I believe that Afflalo is the Bulls real target. BUT I'm with you, I doubt if they get him. I wouldn't consider it out of the realm of possibility, BUT I'm going to take the Nugget's word about them matching any offer to him

I can't believe I'm saying this but the Bulls best option at the 2-guard would be Crawford. Out of the guards that I just mentioned, Rip, Afflalo and Crawford, Crawford is the best who can create offense without Rose setting him up. Rip would be too dependant on Rose's drive and kick to create opportunities. Afflalo could create BUT I don't think he's better than Crawford. Afflalo is probably a better shooter and defender than Crawford but I'd like a guy like Crawford who could create offense away from Rose.

I think you mentioned earlier about thanking the Mavs for keep Carter away from the Bulls. I'd like to give a shout out to them as well. BUT the Bulls cannot plop Bogans out there again and expect to go to the Finals when all the top teams in the East has added pieces to get better. Right now, the Heat, Celtics and Knicks all have made moves to get better. And if the Nets steal Howard from the Magic, then add them to the mix of teams in the East the Bulls is gonna have to compete with.

Scratch what I said about the Mavs going after Dwight Howard. Looks like they'll use the trade exception from the Chandler S&T to sign Sam Dalembert.

RT @ESPNSteinLine: Mavs' first swipe, I'm told, will be trying to do S-and-T w/Sac for Dalembert by using trade exception from Chandler deal
I'd say that leaves the Nets and Lakers with the best shot at getting D12 if he's moved.

Trade part deux has been submitted in the CP3 saga.

Will it get veto'd this time?

Mavs with Dalembert would be pretty nasty. Dalembert needs a Jkidd to get him the ball in position to do something with it, and provides a big body in the middle. I like it.

Well I think we can safely assume that Odom, Gasol, and Dragic are all still in the deal.

I'd imagine that NOH will probably get Courtney Lee. And a boat load of picks from the Lakers and Rockets.

This trade has to involve Andrew Bynum or some other young guy going to the Hornets.

If the restructured CP3 deal goes through, I think it prevents the Lakers from getting D12. There will be no trade exception and the Lakers frontline will get depleted, especially if Okafor is not included in the package back to LA.

That being said...let's get this deal approved.

D12 would then be the Nets to lose IMO.

Sounds like the Rockets will send the same players, the difference will be what the Lakers send.

Hmm, that's an interesting offer from Denver.

If the Lakers give away 2/3 bigs and only get one big in return... I just don't know how that's an upgrade to your roster.

Unless they get Oak, they wouldn't even have two bigs in the starting lineup.
