Kobe is a scorer. That's what he does, he shots the ball and put in the basket. That's why he is what he is, that's how the Lakers won many championships.

Kobe isn't a point guard, he is a shooting guard. You guys think he should play like Lebron James and Chris Paul. It's not what Kobe does.

I disagree with this entirely.

First off to your previous point that Kobe's offense isn't a problem. I disagree. Kobe's scoring takes so much effort that it takes away from the team. You can hear it from the other players in the media talking about lack of ball movement and things like that. I don't think Kobe's offense is the main reason to the Lakers losing so much but it's definitely a factor.

As for Kobe shooting being the reason the Lakers won so many championships I disagree. They won because they had a system that they utilized and that they were able to succeed as a team not because Kobe was shooting. The main catalyst of Kobe's first three rings was Shaq. Period. Shaq leaves and Kobe has the team to himself and what did they do? Nothing. Kobe scored a lot and the team did nothing. Then you were able to have the system the Lakers succeed with in the past and not to mention solid players(Gasol, Bynum, Fisher, Ariza/Artest, Odom) who were able to succeed in the system and the Lakers won two more rings.

Iwonder why you guys like to focus on Kobe's offense when the true Lakers's problem is their defense. If it was this bad he probably woudn't average as many minutes or be put back in the game everytime the opposition team gets on a run.

Yeah Kobe's the one breaking D'Antoni's great plays. For sure.

People here hates on Kobe... It is what it is. I can't put it another way. For whatever reason. I think the main reason beeing is that he isn't Michael Jordan.
