    The measurements will be tomorrow.

Although I have read the following measured at:

    T-Rob: 6'8
    Rivers: 6'5
    Beal: 6'4 1/4

    All in shoes.

That should help both Rivers and Beal and hurt Robinson. Still a Robinson fan was pretty sure he was closer to 6'7 than 6'10 like some reports were saying.
You looking at the Chair MAN!

Number may not tell the whole story ,but they never lie either.

Rivers at 6'5 definitely helps him and depending on how he looks tomorrow then I definitely wouldn't be surprised to see him go in the middle of the 1st(I had him in the late 1st).

Yeah that should help Rivers a lot since I think there was thought whether he'd be tall enough to play SG and whether he'd stick at PG

Rivers would've helped himself by performing at the Combine.

Although the SGs weren't much to write home about.

Probably, but no real point for some of these guys to other then height, etc. I know guys like Rivers and Lamb already worked out for the Hornets, etc.

Oh there's definitely a point for some of them(AKA not going in the Top 5)to go to the Combine.

Sam Amico of FOX Sports tweets "Word is every NBA team with 2 first-round picks except Cavs (Blazers, Rockets, Celtics, Warriors) trying to trade one for young player." Blazers have #6 and #11; Rockets #14 and #16; Celtics #21 and #22; and Warriors, #7 and #30
I know Billy King and Averah have said they're going to try and get into the first round or at least the end of the 1st round, since they have no 1st rd pick as of now because Portland owns it.

Smart move depending on the players available, to get a little more proven commodity and then still get an unknown.

Rivers must think he's a lock for the Top 10.

He's a fringe lottery pick IMO. All the more reason to showcase your stuff for an afternoon in front of everyone. Especially there were questions about the consistency of his jumper, his off hand and being in space with guys bigger than him.

Yes we know they have private workouts. But sometimes who he gets paired up against in those workouts can work against him. Especially because most other players can't stand him and will try to bust his butt every chance they get.

I'm falling in love with Damian Lillard's game... granted we already have Kemba, Augustin, as well as Hendo, but I wish the Bobcats could end up with him.

He's going to be a star IMO.

                            Re: 2012 NBA Draft Discussion

The NBA combine is on Thursday in Chicago. (Our own Jeff Goodman will be there, follow him on Twitter for live updates and inside information.) It's in large part a meaningless measuring activity in which the players test their physical attributes and skills. Some have real meaning, like the wingspan category, because you want to know if a guy is as long as he seems. Others have very little impact but can wind up mattering for crazy reasons (Ed Davis' shuttle time being a big example).

But it seems there's going to be very little "actual basketball" activities done by some of the top players on Thursday. SI.com reports:
More proof that the NBA combine is getting worse: Source says Anthony Davis, Bradley Beal, Andre Drummond, Dion Waiters, and Harrison Barnes are declining to take part in skills drills that involve running and shooting tomorrow. This list is likely to get longer, as agents try to limit the chances that their prospect works out in front of a large group and instead prioritize individual team workouts.
via Sam Amick's post on Basketball | Latest updates on Sulia.

No big shocker, the indvidual workouts are where the conversation really cements among front-office people for who they like. Davis doesn't honestly need to work out, he's going No.1 regardless. Nothing changes that. Beal can probably only hurt his case right now as he's skyrocketed up to as high as No.2 on some draft boards (including ours). Drummond, similar deal, as he's being drafted on height and potential, not skill. Barnes is kind of an interesting approach, but that's likely more to indicate that he's above the fold and showcase what he can do one-on-one.

The combine isn't held in super-high regard, but things like this show why the NBA needs to either get tougher with the process for it or scrap it all together.

                                Re: 2012 NBA Draft Discussion

The real value comes in the measurements, testing and interviews. The numbers won't officially be released until Friday, but there was plenty of good news for several players. Beal checked in at 6-foot-4 1/2 with shoes, Sullinger stood at 6-foot-9, Robinson and Royce White at 6-foot-8 and Rivers at 6-foot-5. Drummond was 6-foot-11 with a 7-foot-6 wingspan. Henson's wingspan was 7-5.
It's fun to watch Lillard drain NBA 3-pointers with ease, to see Hummel move freely without a knee brace - and to see Kendall Marshall back on the court following the wrist injury that kept him out of the NCAA tournament.

Perry Jones III and Henson didn't back out (well, their agents didn't back out) and both showed well. Leonard, a legit 7-footer whose toughness has been questioned, was a beast. Moe Harkless and Terrence Ross' stock continued to rise with strong shooting displays. Quincy Miller struggled. So did Tony Wroten and Kevin Jones.

Lillard, the Weber State star, proved he belonged with the big boys.

"Everyone knew I could shoot," he said. "But I wanted to show it. I didn't want to people to think I'm scared."

"I just wanted to get the experience," added Perry Jones III. "It's a once in a lifetime thing."
