I'm not saying that. I'm saying that there are rumors the Bulls are looking to trade Deng to get into the lottery, and I mean that the only way I would want to trade Deng is if we could get into the top 6, and the only trade that would have any possibility would be the Kings at #5.

I don't see how the hell we'd be able to pull that off.

Trading Deng is actually really smart for the Bulls if they can get a top 6-7 pick for him and not take a terrible contract. they can use this season as a mini rebuild because Rose won't be back for a while and it will take him most the season to get it going.

So if the Bulls tank this season, get a lottery rookie to develop, and rework the roster for 2013-14, they could really be in good shape. I don't see them making a title run with Rose missing most of the season.

I think he'll struggle offensively, he's not in NBA shape for his position to really bang in the post and be a monster.

It'll probably take him a year to really become the player that he was in college.

Trading Deng for a pick would probably mean they would consider to amnesty Boozer this year or next since Deng 13 to 15 million would be off the books.

Unless they are trading us Kyrie Irving, it is impossible to happen.

There are four players I'm watching this draft and that's Zeller, Barnes, Marshall and Henson. I will be following their careers for the next couple of seasons. I either like for the Heat to try and trade up for Zeller or him to go somewhere he will be able to properly develop. I wanted to see the Bobcats draft Barnes but I read an article saying the Warriors may try to trade up and draft him and I'd really like to see that. Marshall and Henson I haven't thought too much at where I'd like to see them play.

If the Bulls is trading Deng to get Michael Kidd Gilchrist, I'm all for it.

I cant see it happening either, but you never know. I hope we don't trade up to 2nd by trading our 4th and 24th. Beal a solid player, but we'd still get a solid player in MKG/Barnes or Drummond. I

Im all on board for trading the #7 and Jefferson/Andre B. for Deng if he agrees to have the surgery early and skip the Olympic games.

Yahoo roundtable of "experts" on who has the biggest bust potential of the draft...

                            Guy #1
the potential top-five pick with the most bust potential is UConn center Andre Drummond. Yes, he has the body, wingspan and athleticism of a potential elite NBA center. He also has the unpolished offensive repertoire and suspect motor of Kwame Brown. Hailed as the recruit who could make UConn a contender for back-to-back championships, Drummond instead struggled to make a consistent impact during his lone erratic season with the Huskies. He lacks a back-to-the-basket game. He disappears for stretches of the game. And he doesn't work hard enough to consistently get good position against players he should dominate physically. Drummond's post defense, offensive rebounding and ability to finish in transition could be assets for an NBA team, but he's light years away from developing into a scoring threat. To me, he's a few years away from becoming DeAndre Jordan – and that's not what I'd want from a top-five pick.
                            Guy #2
But one guy I wouldn't touch is Connecticut center Andre Drummond. Nothing I saw from him in his one season at UConn leads me to believe he can be anything but a guy at the end of an NBA bench. Yes, he does have some shot-blocking skills and he truly is a big man. But I don't think his offense is near NBA-ready and I'm not sure he'll work hard enough to change that. He'll be drafted early because of his potential, but I'd bet 15 or so guys taken after him in the first round will have far more productive NBA careers.

                              Weaknesses:
There aren’t many. Some critics fear he lacks passion and might be more <!--Default For Kwame Brown is to ignore-->Kwame Brown than <!--Default For Kevin Garnett is to ignore-->Kevin Garnett. Aside from that, his biggest weaknesses are lack of experience and strength, which can be said of all players who come straight out of high school. He’ll obviously have to adjust to the physical nature of the NBA, and it remains to be seen whether he can continue to dominate against players who are all his size or bigger. Essentially, Howard’s main weakness is that he’s not as proven a commodity against big-time competition as Okafor.
Drummond would have been a HS SR. this past season. He played on a team with two selfish ball handlers, his legendary coach was having all kinds of issues that prevented him from being with the team, and some of his teammates were ruled ineligible for chunks of the season.

Sure he could(and maybe should) have over came all that, however that's a lot to ask for from a kid who had just turned 18.

While his offenses flashes were far and few inbetween when I saw them it shows me he has the base to be the best center and a top 5 players 3-5 years from now. I see a Bynum type post game with Dwight Howard type physical measurables.
