I hope the Bulls can trade up into the 15-20 range like they were rumored to be looking at.

Re: 2012 NBA Draft Discussion
I just think he's the epitome of a guy who's doing what he's doing because he's so much bigger than everyone he's playing against. Guys like BJ Mullens looked far more impressive in high school."You make your name in the regular season, and your fame in the postseason." - Clyde Frazier

Re: 2012 NBA Draft Discussion
i'll be available if u need a suicide partner lolNot even going to bother with a mock draft because I think close to half of the lottery picks will be traded before it's all said and done, but I'll make a prediction for my Bucks.
One of these scenarios will play out.
1. Lamb or Ross slip to 14 and we snatch them.
2. Lamb or Ross slip to 14 and we take Terrence Jones and I commit suicide.
3. Lamb or Ross slip to 14 and we trade our pick to the Celtics and I jump and dance like a school girl.
4. We trade either Jennings or Ellis in an attempt to acquire a 2nd first round pick, and I cautiously contemplate suicide pending who we get.Steelers | Seminoles | A's | Rockets | Avalanche | Wildcats, Hoosiers | LiverpoolComment

If Cleveland does trade up and take Beal at 2, look for Wizards to pick between Kidd-Gilchrist & Barnes. Leaning towards Barnes, per source.Comment

Re: 2012 NBA Draft Discussion
Honestly, IMO everyone who comes out 1 and done is making a mistake not going back to college. If your game is superior to everyone else in college then go right ahead. But if your game is lacking (Like most of these freshman who barely averaged 15 points, if that), you should go back to college. If you were that good in the first place, your stock wouldn't be slipping, it would improve. Most of these dudes now don't know how to play without the ball (with the exception of big men) because they were the primary scorers. Not gonna be that way in the NBA. That's why IMO, Lamb is going to be the best SG to come out of this draft. He already knows how to intelligently use screens to get off a clean look. He DOESN'T NEED THE BALL to get his own shot off.Are you serious? First, who is Polythress? Is that Poythress? How can you say he would be making a mistake if he hasn't played a game of college yet? He already has an NBA sized body. Let's see how he performs on the court and if he comes out before we declare it a mistake. Not saying it wouldn't be a mistake but its way too early to be proclaiming it to be.
As for Shabazz and if he can play defense...umm...yeah, he is KNOWN for playing hard defense at all times. Bazz also has an NBA body and will absolutely come out and will likely be a Top 3 pick, if not #1 (depending on if someone needs Noel or not in the Top 2 picks) and will be very good at the next level. I don't know how anyone could look at Bazz and think he wouldn't be a one and done and a great pro.Comment

Re: 2012 NBA Draft Discussion
I'd love to somehow get Andy.Rick Bonnell: Cavs' Anderson Varejao is player #Bobcats unsuccessfully signed to offer sheet. Varejao is available, I'm told by other teams. Twitter
The Rockets? HmmMarc Stein: Also from @Chris Broussard on SportsCenter: Bobcats narrow five potential trade partners for No. 2 pick to two teams (Cavs and Rockets) Twitter
Very interesting if true...Chris Broussard: sources: Charlotte talking with Cavs and Rockets about trading #2 pick. not sure if teams making separate offers or if it's a 3-way trade. TwitterLast edited by JohnDoe8865; 06-28-2012, 06:06 PM.Favorite Sports Teams

Re: 2012 NBA Draft Discussion
Meh, it seems like he can get off the floor to block shots though, unlike a guy like Mullens or a Thabeet.
Mullens isn't that bad now though. He has a nice little mid range for a center. He still can't rebound though >.>Comment
