Well, it certainly wont be wins, imo. On the production front, looking at double digit rebounds, close to 2 blocks/PG, and a shade over 10 ppg. Not overwhelming numbers, but effective. Hes not someone you can throw the ball down to and get buckets, more run outs and cheap Danny Manning-esque put backs.

Re: 2012 NBA Draft Discussion
Maybe in the first season, but given his pure raw skills I don't think he'll max out at 10ppgSaints, LSU, Seminoles, Pelicans, Marlins, LightningComment

Re: 2012 NBA Draft Discussion
Yeah I think 16-18ppg for him would be my max. I saw nothing out of him at Kentucky that lead me to believe he can be a 20+ppg type player. Really IMO 18ppg is a stretch. You looking at the Chair MAN!

Re: 2012 NBA Draft Discussion
Not knocking your prediction, I just think it's hard to make a prediction like that with most we've barely seen. Some may have said the same about Irving, or Rose. Others expected Wall to be on Rose's level and Brandon Knight to be a huge bust. I won't even mention Kwame. He could develop his game into a 20+ point scorer. I'd be shocked if he was anywhere close to there year one, but he's still extremely young. I don't think we can really predict what he could evolve into. I think the low end is a poor man's Camby which isn't so bad, but he may end up being more of a wing player for all we know (that'd probably be bad IMO but it's possible).Comment

Re: 2012 NBA Draft Discussion
Exactly it's hard to put a cap on anyone this young and with his skill sets it's hard to get an idea of what he'll become. Good ball handling for his size, decent jumper, and great athleticism/measurables the sky is the limit for this kid for all we knowSaints, LSU, Seminoles, Pelicans, Marlins, LightningComment

I remember when freshmen weren't even allowed to play on most teams in college (yeah I'm old, I know). I don't really see how a cap can be put on a kid who's only played one year out of high school.

Re: 2012 NBA Draft Discussion
It is hard to predict, but thats part of the fun. Davis doesnt need the ball to dominate a game, he can have a huge impact scoring in the single digits. Its the other things that make him so special.
Barnes, Beal, MKG, & Lilliard all strike me as legitimate 20 ppg scorers in the NBA. I will say Davis is ”bust proof” he does so many things that previous lottery big men cant do.#HellaBandz

With that said, I think it's much easier to make other predictions for Davis than points scored. I think that's the one that's really up in the air.Comment
