Have you ever witnessed an actual thug or banger walk like that? I haven't. The whole "thug" moniker has been played out for about a year and a half.

Let him get his swag on. He's living the dream. What do you think you'd do if you were the biggest thing in the NBA, in your early 20's, and just hit a game winning shot in front of about 30,000 people, smile contently and give hi 5's?

Jealousy is demanding as the grave.

I dont see how Lin is being hyped. He is consistently playing at this high level. It isnt really hype if its warranted.

There's be unknown players to emerge like this at stretches for good 2 weeks or so and don't get anywhere near the hype this guy is getting IMO

I just hate the Hype and the GOD AWFUL PUNS that come with it.

Also just to be Clear, I hope he continues to play at this level. I just hate the other Garbage.

            Re: Jeremy Lin

The biggest role NYC plays is that they've been starving for Knicks basketball to be relevant so any guy, especially one that comes out of nowhere and has the history that Lin has, is going to be praised even more.

If the Knicks were already achieving expectations and all that, and this guy was tearing it up, they'd still be talking but it would be more in passing, in my opinion. Why? Because that would mean the big guns they're paying millions for were getting the job done to begin with and they wouldn't be looking as strongly for a "savior"

I know he's not the first player to come out of nowhere with a bang, but dudes' averaging roughly 25, 8, and 4 in the last 5 games and he has 5 straight W's. I want to see more of a sample size before I get too excited, but not many players make a bang like THAT.

Sweet Baby James, the internets would've spontaneously combusted! The very mention of Lin and the act of Tebowing in the same sentence is almost enough to tear a hole in the universe.

Basketball is my favorite sport, I like the way he dribbles up and down the court.

Seriously, though, I believe he's for real. Even if he doesn't become a future Hall of Famer like the hype would lead one to believe, there's a very good chance he will be a solid, reliable PG throughout his career.

Solid performance out of the guy and he really showed up when it comes to crunch time. However the amount of turnovers he commits is ridiculous, he added another 8 tonight.

Who do u guys think is better at what they do in the pro level Tebow or Lin?

Numbers alone I have to say Lin. Tebow played with heart but his numbers wasn't impressive. And for those saying Lin is only getting exposure because he plays in NYC how about Tim Tebow? ESPN was hyping him and he plays in Denver which is a mid market city.
