    Another Good post WT,

Seriously, come on Silas, get Bremer off the floor

    <hr /></blockquote><font class="post">

Unfortunately, the Cavs have NO other deep threat besides Kopono, who's a defensive liability. The plan is to keep Bremer on the floor to stretch the D so teams can't pack the lane. Downside is Bremer's just not consistent yet..

Silas told Miles that if he doesnt start putting up open shots he would sit the bench, period. He knows Miles doesnt have any range at this point but he wants Miles to first stop being hesitant taking it. Miles is too laid back in a half-court set, Silas wants Miles to be aggressive. This will be painful to watch...

In the first 3 games Illga only took 33 shots, but only averaged 1 apg. Tonight I think they tried to take advantage of his size advantage, but your right, Ill needs much better court awareness.

I like Diop. He used to come to a clothing store I used to manage a couple of years ago. Real good kid, very respectful. If he concentrates on defense and rebounding, he'll find a place in this league.

Ya, but I'm still really happy the Sonics didn't pick Diop somehow a few years ago.

Right now Carmelo's game is better than Lebron's because Melo knows how to get his game off, whereas Lebron does not. If you want to compare stats (which are misleading) then you must take note that Melo has played against much harder defensive players/teams. Bowen(spurs), Jim jackson(houston), Ron artest(pacers) not to mention harder defensive teams. If you watched the games you would see that Melo is getting double teams and beat up pretty good. Even last night against the Cavs he got fouled but hasn't earned the calls yet. Lebron when he has had success it has been against open court run up and down the court teams. If you notice he gets most of his points off of turnovers or loose balls or breakaway dunks. He doesn't have an exceptional handle to break defenders down, and his jump shot is very bad, not consistent. He does however have great court sense, I think if silas doesn't keep him at point he is going to hurt lebron greatly. He needs the ball in his hands, but most importantly he has to find his game, he will not make a living off of the style of play he is currently applying. A half court game will completely shut him down until he finds his offensive game.

I was excited for the game, but after watching a little bit of it, I got really bored. I couldn't stand it anymore, so I changed it. The Kings/TWolves game was so much better to watch.

Damn those bad teams on national television.

booooooo Ollie sucks donkey balls, he blew like 2 layups and the offense looked like sh*t when he ran it. LeBron should be at the point. He is useless standing around spotting up. Paul isn't a good a coach as he seems. I have been a Hornet fan for a long time and he makes some very questionable decisions. He also tends to go away with what's working to follow his gameplan no matter how the game is playing out. And yes, the Hornets were underachieving like a mofo.

Melo is good, he can score, but he can't do anything else. It is clear to me that LeBron is on a whole different level. He can do EVERYTHING, and imagine how better he'll be able to it with a few more years of seasoning? Plus his size and athleticism make him that much more special. The way i see it, Melo won't be able to control the game like LeBron has the ability to.

Lebron can't do everything. He can't break his man down off of the dribble, he can't shoot. He currently does not have the kind of game that he is hyped to have. He cannot take a game over, he can certainly maintain and run an offense though. Melo and lebron are two different types of players. Melo is a scorer, Lebron is a stats man. It depends on what your team needs. Michael Jordan was a scorer and a defender, never got many triple doubles, Magic was a stats man. I take Jordan everytime. Again, Lebron has to get his feet under him in regards to having a NBA type offensive game, Melo has that, he just has to learn the NBA flow, (Melo is actually not bad at rebounding) Against tough defenses that are going to require the Cavs to have a half court offense,Lebron is going to struggle, why? because he can't shoot or twist cats up. Will he learn this? I hope so. Is game is not spectacular it is just sound. T-Mac, Kobe, Iverson, that is spectacular game play. Lebrons game is not built like those guys.
