No doubt, just a amateur coach talking jibberish....not trying to motivate his team or anything...

Great win by the good guys. They came out sloppy, tentative and soft, but stepped it up in the fourth quarter. I see DeJuan Blair possibly getting some time in this series. Matt Bonner played horribly and Pop may need to go to Blair. Couldn't understand why Scott Brooks sat Serge for the entire 4th quarter, especially when his big line-up gave him the lead. Props to S-Jax and Manu for their great crunch time play. Can't wait until game 2.

No doubt it's better than the regular speeches... a famous terrible one is "we gotta put the ball in the basket" my reaction is:

Man the Spurs are just scary good this year

and to top it off...the Thunder just gave Pop some film to make adjustments on... its going to be a heck of a series

It was very SAS like though... they were losing, then they were down 3, then they were tied, then they had the lead... and it happened so non chalantly, Duncan never made a different face of emotion, and the Spurs win the game even though this wasnt their best game

They're smart, wiley and just flat out makes some plays that are crisp that have you saying dang man, when they do it the right way, they really do it the right way.

This thought came to me today while looking at the replay of last night's game.

Ginobili and Harden are pretty much the same player.

Nah, I'm pretty sure I've seen this one 4 times already. The guys in silver and black are the protagonists in this flick.

I'd also like to mention that last night is a prime example of why Richard Jefferson was a bad fit. The team was flat and tenative for much of the game. But, Kawhi Leonard and Stephen Jackson helped bring energy, hustle and hunger to the team when they needed it. RJ would have withered under that kind of pressure, especially after the team had been playing great previously. Obtaining Leonard and re-acquiring Jackson were huge just because they aren't afraid to play playoff basketball.

Pretty much. Harden has pretty clearly modeled himself after him.

Yep that's true. Even though Gino has more of a pierce's touch around the rim and Harden more of a classical athletic style.

Harden even put Gino's hair on his chin.

I would of called a double foul on that double flop.

When they were down 9, i joked with some guy that they were about to go on a 21-0 run. Well, they went on an 18-3 run, so not too far off.
