Don't know about anyone else but I'm looking forward to this game just for the crowd itself.

And that ain't no NBA-type crowd atmosphere either. That's basically the Midwest version of Cameron Indoor Stadium, as much as I hate to use dook as an example.

If it does end up being BOS/OKC and that is a big if as well as yet to be determined. I think OKC will steamroll through Boston, I can obviously be wrong but that's my feeling right now.

I hope SA can turn this around, we'll see. I do hope the Celtics can finish off Wade and his band of bums though.

I feel like honestly if OKC wins and they keep this core together would be the start of another dynasty which would just be crazy when you consider both how young this team is and how short the journey is.

We don't accept "having a good season" or "almost being there" any more than any other contending fan base does....07 was a good while ago, and 08-11 seasons were nothing to be happy about...
Fans need to check themselves then. The Spurs have been among the top 5 teams in the league for years. Only one team can win it all and the Spurs have more rings than most. If the fans can't recognize how great the organization is being run I don't know who should be expected to. We hear all this news about the Knicks, Nets, Heat... ask any of their fans if they'd rather have the Spurs 08-11 seasons.

Seriously, it's the all or nothing mentality that makes players and teams want to blow up and start over all the time, creating the mess that many teams are. I admire the Spurs for not following that path.

They're in the WCF now. I believe they had the best record in the regular season last year. This is the first year that TP has been option 1 and he was in MVP conversations. It really is crazy talk to suggest they should trade him if the Spurs come a game or two short of the Championship series.

                    Whart,

I didn't see anyone say anything about how poorly the Spurs organization is run....kindly point me to that post so I can laugh at it....

Feel free to support your team in that way...but I'm not satisfied with racking up regular season wins and failing in the playoffs...I can recognize we had a good season....but that's not what I want as a fan...and I don't think that's what they want as an organization. Honestly, I don't I know if any fans of successful franchises think like that...lol

The fact that other teams would kill for those seasons is no consolation whatsoever...

B-but you guys had the number one seed and won your division. That's all that matters yo.

                      God I hate Boozer.

With you though 24. At the point where your franchise is, this isn't an acceptable outcome. Maybe during a rebuilding period for your franchise, but not at this point. Not when you've reached contender status.

I'm not suggesting you should expect anything different looking FORWARD. But when you look back and evaluate, you shouldn't be talking about trading Tony Parker right now or blowing things up bc you're disappointed they didn't win the championship (which is the basis for my comments).

Blowing up the core would do you guys no good at all.

I'm sure you can add to it rather than take away

Plus Spurs haven't bust of the playoffs yet.

                              Tonight is Nasty night.
