They've had things work out in their favor really. ATL and PHI aren't contending for anything ever. They caught Miami without Bosh which means MIA's major flaws are right there to be exploited. They get nothing but youth, hunger, fearlessness, and now actual discipline (knock on wood) in a match-up with OKC. Its a recipe for an ***-kicking.

Congrats to the Thunder. Can't think of a more deserving group of guys, especially going through the defending champs, the Lakers and then the best team in the regular season, the Spurs. Definitely going to be rooting for them in the Finals, regardless of who they play.

Congrats to the Spurs too, that was a great team they fielded this year, just didn't have enough left in the tank when it came down to it. Hopefully they don't break up that team at all, they've still got a great foundation.

Outside of LA, the Midwest has got the NBA on lock, man.

From the Bulls/Rockets dominating the 90s to the Spurs and Mavs during the 00s and now OKC. They're like the ****ing SEC of the NBA.

Still have Wade and Lebron and their fastbreak attack. and On Defense they were supposedly more athletic and were supposed to suffocate Boston. and After the Bradley/Allen Injurys there was little expected of this team.

I don't wanna hear the about the Bosh Injury. If Fully healthy, most people would of picked the Celtics in 6/7. But that's Irrelevant.

I agree with you, about OKC but I wouldn't but surprised if Boston give them a serious push.

Like everyone is saying, they wanted the pick. It was a mutual thing man, he didn't need to show.

I'm glad to see my man D Fish get another shot at one more ring myself. He's been exactly what the Thunder needed off the bench. You just know he has a few more big shots in him left for these finals.

I know I'm late as hell. Missed the game cause of work, but I saw this and had to ask. Humbled? Someone that's cocky as hell gets humbled. How and why would this team need to be humbled?

Can this even be used in this conversation? Pierce is hurt, Ray Allen has bone spurs and Avery Bradley is gone. Who cares if they caught Miami without Bosh?

Don't forget about them losing their expected 6th man, Jeff Green, for the whole season, too. Also to a much lesser extent, their starting center, Jermaine O'Neal. Boston would have been a monster this year fully healthy.

Edit: And Chris Wilcox, a pretty decent bench big.

Who said anything about caring or sympathy for Miami? What stated are the simple facts of the situation. Interpret them as you see fit. Without Bosh on the floor Miami can be forced right into playing into this Boston squads strenghts on both sides of the ball (this is a situation where actual coaching usually happens but we know the deal there). Thats not an opinion.
