My point is mainly Boston having workable circumstances more than them having to "grind" or "tough" it out. They havent had to overcome insurmountable odds to get where they are right now.

One thing that makes this loss so hard is that this may be the Spurs' last chance at a Title. Yes, the Spurs may have one more run left, but the window is closing and Duncan and Manu aren't getting any younger.

Duncan will be back next year. No way in hell he retires. I'd expect him to take a substantial pay cut so that the Spurs can make a nice free agent signing and make one final run in 2012-2013.

Were there a lot of sketchy calls that went OKC's way in the second half or was it just me with my Silver- and Black-tinted glasses on?

Yeah, Manu was just talking about that window today...that's the reality of it....this year was specially being that everyone was healthy for the first time in a long time....

Hard to see this being duplicated...

Don't think the 2 bad foul calls lost the game though. They were killing them in the first half and came out with no energy in the second half. Btw Manu is a very classy person and it showed in the post game press conference.

I say it when it's not my team, and I'll say it when it is my team...

You play through foul calls...at the end of the day, there were plays to be made that weren't made.

                    LOL.

I do see that our main man Joey Crawford was officiating this one, though.

He seriously needs to be drawn and quartered.

OK well, maybe that's a bit much but you get what I'm saying.

As soon as I heard the whistle after that one Jackson three I knew exactly what had happened....there was only one possible reason for that whistle and only one possible source.

Thats not an opinion.
Simple facts of the situation? Okay, but they're half facts of the situation. You basically just went Bumi and cherry picked some facts to make your point. You gonna talk about them having things work out in they're favor but completely ignore the FACT that a huge part of their team that helped them finish the way they did (Bradley) is done for the year. Two of their big three had/have significant injuries that have hampered them in the Playoffs the entire way along with the other losses that have been pointed out here (Green, O'Neal) and say things worked out in their favor? I suppose if it was the Bulls up 3-2 against Miami things would have worked out in their favor that they played Philly (who isn't contending for anything), banged up Boston and Miami without Bosh, despite Derrick Rose dropping in the first game?

My dude Miami should have won this thing in five, Bosh or not. They managed to go up 2-0 on this team and if Wade doesn't be a ******* or Spo call something remotely close to a good play (whichever theory you subscribe to) they're up 3-1 without Bosh. They have two of the best players in the league on their team. The consensus best player/MVP is one of them and they got everything they needed for the most part from the supporting cast. The corpse of Shane Battier was out there ACTUALLY hitting shots. Mike Miller was making shots. Haslem was actually contributing and they wasted it. They were lazy going after loose balls, lagging around in transition and basically just showing a lack of real effort. With or without Bosh, they should've won this series already.
