I think Scott Brooks has earned his stripes here. He made to proper adjustments and got his players to play with that fire you gotta have to get it done. Makes Spoelstra's situation stand out even more.

Hopefully, we can continue to compete next season. Man, sucks to see the season end this way. Damn!!!!!!
Side-note: Why didn't Pop play hack-a-Perkins in the 4th quarter?

Re: THUNDER vs. SPURS - 2012 WESTERN CONFERENCE FINALS THREAD
Has anybody ever seen any....."diversity" in the OKC audience? Not trying to stir any racial **** up here, but I just thought about it and made that observation...and outside of Durant's mom and their entourage....the audience has always seemed very monochromatic.
Maybe it's the shirts lolComment

I don't think any other team plays for their city and their fans with as much pride as OKC. It seems as if they are has happy to bring this to their fans as they are themselves. Pretty cool, IMO.Comment

The sad part about this series ending is now I gotta deal with the Four Stooges at BSPN for the next week and a half since they have Finals Coverage. Thank goodness for NBATV though.#RespectTheCultureComment

Re: THUNDER vs. SPURS - 2012 WESTERN CONFERENCE FINALS THREAD
This hurts a lot. After going up 2-0 I thought this was the year another trophy got lifted in San Antonio.
Anyway, hopefully Duncan re-signs for low enough to possibly bring in Batum or Lorbek and make another run at #5.
Congrats to OKC, who is obviously just a better team.Comment

Re: THUNDER vs. SPURS - 2012 WESTERN CONFERENCE FINALS THREAD
Boston would last 5 games. No real advantages at any position to go along with the fact that OKC has just beaten the best teams in the League to get to the Finals. No fear whatsoever in that series for them.Comment

I don't think they can, OKC will run roughshod over them.Comment

Fact of the Night:
First time since 1998 that a team not from the State of Texas and California is representing the West in the Finals.#RespectTheCultureComment

Re: THUNDER vs. SPURS - 2012 WESTERN CONFERENCE FINALS THREAD
Pack right now sure, but ATL , Philly and a Miami squad with no Bosh... I wouldnt compare any of them to OKC
These guys are just going and going almost on automatic not even thinking about being up or down, just playing basketball
SM... its a shame Ray is hurt, because his shooting vs Durants would be something to seeComment

and if the Thunder win the championship, it will be the first time since 1980 that a western conference team not from California or Texas won the NBA championshipComment
