The fact Allen can convert a dribble drive and layup and provide some useful movement you have to pay attention to instantly makes him more valuable than anyone currently on the bench.....easily lol

Re: NBA Movement Central 2012 (Updates 1st PG)
I have a friend who is a Heat fan.
He said he would rather have Allen than anyone else on the Celtic's roster.
I know we appreciate Rondo's ability as a PG on OS, but it seems outside of here, the average fan just doesn't give the guy any credit.
Keep in mind, I'm a Lakers fan and I hate the Celtics.
I don't blame Ray Allen for this move, but It's going to be even harder for me to get used to seeing him in a Heat uniform than it will be to see Nash in a Lakers uniform. Just a weird off season for some of these future NBA HOF guys. Is it a quick cash out, trying to get another ring and $$ or are these legit moves ? Either way, I can't blame either Nash or Allen.Comment

Re: NBA Movement Central 2012 (Updates 1st PG)
As long as James, Wade, and Bosh stay healthy, they'll be back in the finals. Ray Allen and his health will just be an extra bonus, because honestly, Miami didn't need him either. Does a big man help the cause? Probably, but it certainly isn't needed - at least not to get into the finals, not for the Miami Heat.Comment

Re: NBA Movement Central 2012 (Updates 1st PG)
That's been their biggest need for two years now, yet they still get into the NBA finals. They just beat a team with two bigs, in a five game series. This isn't the 60s, 70s, 80s or 90s - the big man is a dead art.

Re: NBA Movement Central 2012 (Updates 1st PG)
Ray Allen is a nice signing, especially for the drama, since I can't stand Boston. There's a reason Ray Allen was their #1 target, and not Marcus Camby or Keyon Martin. I think they know a little more than we do, just sayin'.
If you like Camby so much, I hope your favorite team can work something out.Comment

Well Allen is a better fit for the Heat than Rondo. Miami already has inside scoring and ball distribution. They want shooters.Originally posted by Kaiser Wilhelmthere should not be ties occurring in the NFL except when neither team wins the game.Comment

Re: NBA Movement Central 2012 (Updates 1st PG)
It's weird to me that anyone associates Ray with the Celtics. I didn't even realize that he had been there for 5 years so maybe it's just me but I think of Milwaukee and Seattle before Boston whenever he's brought up.Originally posted by BlzerLet me assure you that I am a huge proponent of size, and it greatly matters. Don't ever let anyone tell you otherwise.
If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)Comment

Ian Mahinmi just retweeted this:
Pete Rodriguez @mavsman2k
Please someone tell me @CharleeRedz13 @ianmahinmi & @bwright34 are coming back for the #Mavs this season and i'll get off this ledge #jumper
Not sure what to think of that...
Dude who originally tweeted must not be a very good Mavs fan though because Brandan Wright has been coming back since before free agency even started.NFL: Pittsburgh Steelers
