What? Am just posting a tweet from what's so offensive about that? He did hint the potential trade with Nash before it was even confirmed.

"Boston has agreed to terms with forward Jeff Green on a multi year deal, according to his agent, David Falk. No word yet on the terms, though keep in mind that the Celtics issued a $9 million qualifying offer last off-season before he had heart surgery. They are confident he is fully healthy."

Yea maybe a couple years ago, but we'll see...

It all make sense now since him (and PP) used to wave off Rondo and try to create their own shot...Most times the attempt ended up nowhere...

He is shooting higher percentage. Has better shot selection, more discipline and is a very intelligent player. He is an upgrade over other Heat shooters. I agree though..we'll see

Yea but most of those shots been open looks. Not creating for himself.

He's been on of the more consistent players on the Celtics before his injury this past season and that had everything to do with getting spot up jump shots.

Spot up, Shooter probably not but can't do that much more. This is not '05 Ray Allen. This is an upgrade but not a need.. So lets not give them the Championship yet.

and I just hope it's not 4 Years 40 mil for Green unless that last year is an option year.

No one but overzealous Heat fans are giving them the championship, but anyone whose watched Miller/Jones become completely useless after being chased off the 3PT line Is more than happy to have Allen, lol

**** you, Ray. Thanks for the title and the five good years here but now? **** you and I hope you never come close to seeing another ring.
I can agree on the main rivalry part. Although it shows just how non-existent rivalries between players are. Only fan bases rivalries.

My assumption from this thread is that people hate him & Nash for ring chasing, which isn't very uncommon with ageing hall of famers.

Anyway, I hate both deals. Super teams just became more powerful. But I just can't hate Ray Allen or Steve Nash. Too likeable.

If anything, he's a Buck but he only played there for 6 years..

It's pretty simple math. Any time you can add a quality piece while simultaneously subtracting from your main competitor, you make that move.
                              Good job! Good effort!
