I wish they would at least interview Mayo... or someone not named Fisher for that matter.

You know Rip can't be relied on to hold up for the season so I don't think Lou would be strictly a 6th man.

Mayo's probably going to get a long-term deal with Indy.

You're looking at Lou Williams, JR Smith, Pietrus, Gerald Green, etc.

I also thinks he has a higher ceiling. This guy average like 18pts, 4reb, and 3 ast in his first two years in the league with 38% from three. I think his situation in Memphis wasn't ideal for his development, but I think he could thrive in Chicago.

Lou is a better PG, but Mayo could get some minutes at PG when were waiting for Rose.

If it means amnesty Boozer so we get the full MLE, then I'm up for it. That also gives us room to extend Taj and let him start.

          Mayo>Williams>Lee
You guys know CHI better than me but I don't see the Bulls amnestying Boozer when Rose is going to be out for almost half a season. Maybe (probably) next year though.

It kinda makes sense to do it now. Some team would pick him up for a couple years at around 5 mill per.

Not sure that happens next year.

Yes. He exercised his player option. The Knicks can give him a significant raise over last year's salary.

If there's a team out there that blows him out of the water with a sizeable contract...I'm sure he's gone.

Yeah, I don't think they would. But I'm saying I would if it meant we could get Mayo, who I think could be a 20PPG scorer in the right situation.

                  -------

It's annoying because two years ago the Bulls couldn't get Courtney Lee because they refused to trade Asik, and couldn't get Mayo despite offering Brewer, two 1sts, and a 2nd...

and now they aren't even looking at Mayo for all we know, and most likely can't afford Lee.

It would be awesome if the Bulls could work out some S&T w/ the Rockets for Asik where they get K-Mart.

Clearly a 37 year old Derek Fisher is the best basketball, and non financial, decision for this team

I'm very surprised someone like Chicago isn't expressing more interest in JR Smith. From everything we've heard locally, JR will definitely be back. Not that it means a damn thing given this offseason.

No thank you to Mr Earl Joesph. We didn't want him here the first time and it'd probably be in our best interest to not look for him now either.

I forgot about Mayo. If we can get him, I'd be cool with that. However all this time around tehova's opinions of him scare me a little when it comes to OJ.

The source says the Lakers have informed one player that he might be part of the package deal and that he could be traded at any moment.
The Lakers are “very interested” in acquiring Howard, according to the source.
the Lakers are considering an offer from the Orlando Magic for Dwight Howard, and they are very interested

Ugh, this was posted late last night by some female reporter who "heard something" and "ran with it"...

                              Her words.

Then she spent the next two hours covering her a*s on Twitter.

I'll believe it when I see it in a big red box on NBA.com
